According to Vinelink, McDermott was arrested on March 12, 2024 in Antonito (Conejos County) but bonded out only to be picked up again on May 2, 2024 in Walsenburg (Huerfano County). He's since been transferred out of Huerfano but records not being updated due to the transfer.

Korina is deceased and not missing. Andre Baroz AKA Psycho shot her because she was due to testify as a witness against him in a drug case. Co-defendant Ramirez helped with the destruction of her remains.

ALAMOSA— The 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced Monday, April 26, that Adre “Psycho” Baroz is now facing murder charges in connection with the death of Korina Arroyo of Monte Vista.
