transcripts of testimony I don't think are considered evidence per se. But I have seen a judge allow a jury to view a transcript of a certain witness's testimony.

So I think it is up to the judge in each case to decide if they feel it is appropriate. IME judge's most frequently allow juries to see transcripts of expert testimony but this witness was not an expert.

Anywho, sounds as if they are close. come on jury, we appreciate your efforts let's bring this verdict home.

ETA and while typing this I see the jury has a verdict.
