Someone is hacking into the Colorado court’s video streaming system disrupting often-sensitive hearings with *advertiser censored*, racial slurs and videos so disturbing, staff is reportedly traumatized by them.

The hacks, which started in July, have happened on Judicial Webex platforms all over the state, specifically those that stream for: Jefferson County; Clear Creek County mountain courts; Arapahoe County; Grand Junction’s Mesa County Courthouse; Boulder County Courthouse; Adams County for its Brighton courthouse and the Larimer County Courthouse in Fort Collins.

Judges don't appear to be cancelling the use of WebEx due to the hacks, Karrer said.

That's really terrible for so many reasons.

The Webex feed was so wonderful to follow Gannon's trial. Everything except sidebars was there to see and hear for anyone who wanted to follow the trial. I followed it in the middle of the night from Australia for close to two months, four days a week. I hope they're able to fix the issue very soon.

7/19/24 Update: During the hearing on Friday, the preliminary hearing for the charge of solicitation to commit tampering with physical evidence that was set for next Tuesday has been pushed back to 8/15/24. The trial pertaining to all other charges was postponed until 12/2/24. No explanation for the delay was announced.
8/15/24 Update: The Preliminary hearing for Craig has been continued to 9/11/24. Prosecutors also filed a Motion to Amend Count 4 from Tampering with Evidence (class 6 felony) to Perjury (class 5 felony).

Do you mean jury selection 11/28 and 11/29 since the trial is supposed to start on 12/2?

Not sure, the article doesn't say anything. But since 11/28 is Thanksgiving, I am guessing that 12/2 will be when jury selection starts with actual arguments beginning a day or two later. Imo.
