This is all I see about Jury selection on Day 1 ( yesterday Thursday July 10).


After two postponements, three different attorney teams, five added charges and one bizarre interruption when a lawyer allegedly set his own house on fire, the trial of the Aurora dentist accused of slowly poisoning his wife to death got underway on Thursday.

Hundreds of potential jurors trickled into Centennial's Arapahoe County Justice Center and filled out questionnaires and were queried by attorneys. The trial could take up to three weeks.

Wonder why he would have even bothered with the eyedrops chemical, if he was using CYANIDE! I think cyanide alone would do the job no matter what.

None of the articles about jury selection are describing "what" is going on. All they do is re-hash what happened in this case - but I found this on FB -

18th Judicial District Attorney's Office - Colorado
We are in the Questionnaire process. We don't anticipate having an actual jury seated until early next week.

Nothing on jury selection but this article names another DA involved with the prosecution.

"Her mental state is anger and frustration, not suicidality or desperation to keep the defendant in the marriage,” Senior Chief Deputy District Attorney Michael Mauro wrote in a recent court filing.

JC supposedly had previously tried to poison Angela years before. So I think he was planning it for years. Imo.
When she said she felt drugged, her husband replied, “Given our history, I know that must be triggering.”

“Just for the record, I didn’t drug you.”

One of Angela Craig’s sisters told investigators James Craig had drugged his wife several years prior, so she wouldn’t be able to stop him from attempting suicide, the affidavit says.

Monday, July 14th:
*Jury Selection continues (Day 3) (@ 8:30am MT) - CO - *Angela Dawn Pray Craig (43) poisoned (potassium cyanide) by husband & left her brain dead & taken off life support (arrived at hospital on Mar. 16, 2023) & died Mar. 18, 2023, Aurora. *James Toliver Craig (45/now 47) arrested (3/19/23), charged (3/23/23), formally charged (7/12/23) & arraigned (10/9/23) with 1st degree premeditated murder after deliberations & tampering with physical evidence. Amended charges (4/12/24): 1st degree murder (F1) & 2 counts of solicitation to commit with physical evidence [1 for an inmate & 1 for family member]. Added charges [11/21/24] solicitation to commit 1st degree murder [of Aurora Police Detective] & solicitation to commit perjury in the 1st degree. Held without bond. Bond set at $10M on 6/28/23. Plead not guilty (10/9/23 to murder & on 2/14/25 to Solicitation).
Added charges [4/11/25] with Solicitation to commit tampering with physical evidence. Arapahoe County
Jury selection began on 7/10/25 & will continue to 7/14/25.
Trial set to begin on 7/15/25 [with opening statements] & goes through 8/1/25. All start @ 8:30am.
Judge Shay K. Whitaker presiding. DA Amy L. Padden & Senior Chief Deputy DA Michael Mauro. Defense attorneys Lisa Fine Moses & Ashley Witham.

Apparently, it's a paywall if you are on Apple’s operating system macOS Sequoia, but yes, when using another electronic w/Safari wasnt met with paywall. Good to know. ;)
