Finally, a picture of the victim rather than the defendant.

DEFENSE's EPIC FAILED

Defense tried hard to paint a dark picture of Angela Craig during cross, but her daughter Miriam wouldn't let that happen. The defense pushed hard to suggest Angela Craig had mental health issues. But her daughter, Miriam, didn’t give them an inch.

Is the Defense serious???? His personal email, his account, his purchase, cyanide, but sure it could be a scam email. I hate when that happens.

Before the trial broke for lunch, defense attorneys raised concerns about a juror they believed was falling asleep during testimony. The attorney said the person’s head was leaning forward and appeared to be sleeping. The judge said she would address the issue. We were supposed to restart at 12:50. It is now 1:13 p.m. But we have not been let back into the courtroom. We are not sure what is causing the delay. I did see the jury walking back into the courthouse at 12:40.

Craig is going down. The state has built a solid case against him. JMO

This guy is incredible. He is the world's worst criminal. It is like an episode of "Simpsons". "Homer decides to kill Marge".

The email, the text messages, the concern about "The Package". Doh!

I feel nothing but pain for Angela's children, but the second daughter must be suffering to an extreme. Her father asked her to bail out a complete stranger from jail ("go figure out how to do it") and then asked her to go to the deep web to create fake evidence that made it seem that her mother had asked James to buy the poison for her. I just can't imagine....

Hugs to all of the children and extended relatives.

Reading between the lines, I think Craig might have been a management problem at the dental clinic well before this.

It seems that he was unable to access the clinic after hours. This seems very strange for a dentist, more so for a practice partner.

In the message he wrote to his partner, extorting him not to speak to the police and basically blaming him for the police interest, he made some comments that indicated earlier problems between the partner and himself. These comments, (I don't know how to link, sorry), indicated that the partner had, more than once, had to "manage" Craig at the practice, and Craig felt that this was without ever giving him the benefit of the doubt, or listening to Craig's side of the story.

Also, Craig's position- as a former owner whose practice had gone broke, working in that same practice, would be a bit uncomfortable for everyone.

Didn’t an employee state that Craig did not have his own office?

I go to a dental clinic where the husband and wife are dental partners and they both have private offices,

I don't know, but if you look at the PDF I linked above, it is insane. JC was blaming his partner for turning him in! He ordered poison on Amazon.

So heartbreaking to read the text messages from Angela. She was really sick. He is a monster.

Well that means that James likely lived beyond his means. Didn't I hear that he went to Vegas? And he apparently had some women on the side. That all costs money.

Wonder why he had no keys to his own office?!

Text from JC to his mistress Karin Cain, 6th March 2023, when Angela was in the hospital -

"Just for the record, I will never drug you. I mean, in case that was something you were ever worried about."

timestamp 26.23 in opening statement
Ya know, I thought I heard the prosecution say this in their opening statement, but I didn’t include it in my notes because I thought surely I misheard something.

Prosecutors also pointed out problems they say the couple was having. Text messages between James Craig and his wife Angela were shown to the jury. Craig’s defense attorney said the two were said to have long-standing issues and a continuing struggle to keep their relationship going.

Here are a few of those text messages.

“You (James) have been having an affair. That’s why it freaks you out to give me your phone,” Angela said.

“None of that stuff you said is not actually happening. I hope things keep getting better and better after Christmas,” Craig James said

“Everything is not OK. We are not OK,” Angela responded.

“I’m sorry I did this to you” James said.

“I wish I believed that,” Angela said.
