DENVER (KDVR) — Investigators are asking the public for help identifying a man whose body was found in Park County last year.
CBI said the man’s ancestry is likely Eastern European, and recent genealogy work indicates he has Slovakian DNA. With that new information, investigators believe he may have relatives in the following areas:
Pueblo, Colorado
Omaha, Nebraska
Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Investigators said they are looking for people with information in those areas because there were “numerous DNA matches across Nebraska” and “strong Czech/Slovak communities in Pueblo and Cedar Rapids.” There was also a known Slovakian DNA match in the Cedar Rapids area.
