The smartest thing he did was conceal her well early on. The dumbest thing he did was move her after that. He micromanaged too many steps for too long. Every time you handle, move, or stage remains, you open up a new opportunity for forensic failure. His long-term control actually gave the case more angles to break.

I always thought whatever went down that weekend escalated quickly, she was leaving, the affair came out, emotions boiled over, and he kills her. This evidence tells a different story, he planned to kill her, he loathed her.

Sadly, I think her end was absolutely horrifying and she had more awareness than we want to believe. She knew he was killing her. imo

What if she had no hair due to her cancer and wore a wig. Just a thought, either way both are missing.

His girlfriend had a wig... seen in hotel security images where she was staying with Barry, Valentine's Day Bible study or something.

So maybe Suzanne's wig wasn't so missing.

Suzanne's voice is gaining volume at the speed with which his is losing it.

Justice can't bring her back but her truth deserves to be heard. Finally, loud and clear.

There are no winners here but there is victory and vindication in refuting the mountain of lies he told, including by Iris, that Suzanne would ever have voluntarily left her beloved daughters (to Ecuador, 'sif).

BAM went in, the truth is coming out.

In the eternal word of @Warwick7

BAM

Remember the "pen taping" where she was so angry with him, how tired she was of him telling how to act, what she could and could not wear etc...? Yes she is going heard. Finally, loud and clear!

Good morning, so I'm jumping to this case fresh-off from the Karen Read victory! I know very little about this case - is there a good book/podcast/tv show that can lay some groundwork for me about the basic facts in this case? With four kids and a full-time job I just do not have time to read through all the posts here at WS.... Thank you in advance!
Here is a timeline

And the indictment

And 48 hours episode

Did it state she was dressed or just that her clothing was found with her? Maybe she wasn't wearing anything when he killed her. Maybe he just tossed the missing bike clothing in with her body. Maybe she never even had it on. What if the clothing is that teal colored item that he may have been spotted with at the hotel.
I like your thinking, @PaulaDC . Its stated in the indictment that her remains were disarticulated, spread over the immediate area and not a whole or complete skeleton (as in, not joined up like a medical specimen). I dont think he redressed a mostly disarticulated skeleton because that’s not going to work. With the evidence showing she did not decomp in or near the biking clothes, I think he just threw them in there with her after he moved the body the last time.

I’d love to know the colour of the items found with her too.

The autopsy report will be enlightening.

You would think he’d attempt to dress the remains for credibility, should they ever be found. But there again, this is Barry so maybe he just tossed them in with her. Maybe we’ll find out more eventually.

That teal colored possible jacket he was seen with at the hotel?
According to this news report, the autopsy report says that clothing found with the remains included a sweatshirt with the words “Crested Butte” on it, a Nike tank top, and Yeti shorts.

I wonder if the first location was discovered, but by the time LE searched there, he'd already moved her.

***The report says the medical examiner received Morphew’s remains in bags containing bones and clothing to include a sweatshirt reading “Crested Butte”, a Nike tank top, and Yeti shorts.***

The link to the autopsy report and a copy of the report itself is linked at the bottom of the article posted, just FYI for all of us.

Are you sure?
Watched the video of the court appearance in AZ where the AZ judge explained his rights and stated $3 million bond if he fought extradition. He could get bail for 3 million until his hearing on June 30. He waived, so now just waiting in jail until CO comes to get him.

Poor Barry... this case has 100% changed. They found her and they found BAM. There is not another person on planet earth that would be lurking around Puma Path with BAM hunting Suzanne. No random abductor would be lurking about while she rode her bike waiting to inject her with BAM.

He should have thought up a better way to commit this crime if he wanted to get away with it.

He's going down this time!

For those of us wondering, the ripped sweatshirt was dark blue/grey, the torn Nike top was green, yeti shorts did not have a colour cited with them in the report, and a fabric scrap that also did not have a colour cited. There was also a pink and leather work glove, a pale patterned light coloured item (it says balaclava, but I think they mean a running buff) and a light coloured bra top.

How green is that Nike shirt? Are we talking lime green… or more teal?
