Just got reposted below!Thank you! I must have missed the link with SO many posts to read to catch up - do you have that link handy? TIA! View attachment 596889
Would you have time to go to the first thread, May 2020, and at least read that? You could see the very first early posts. You would enjoy the background. It would tell you a lot. Then you could catch up in time. I know of no books and i have been here since day 1. The television segments don’t tell the truth, as far as I’m concerned. Others might have ideas.Good morning, so I'm jumping to this case fresh-off from the Karen Read victory! I know very little about this case - is there a good book/podcast/tv show that can lay some groundwork for me about the basic facts in this case? With four kids and a full-time job I just do not have time to read through all the posts here at WS.... Thank you in advance!
Maybe read the first probable cause. And the summaries of the first hearing days.Would you have time to go to the first thread, May 2020, and at least read that? Thank you - yes I will try to go back to the very beginning thread. Given the fact that he was just arrested means I will have plenty of time to catch up before the actual trial happens...Would you have time to go to the first thread, May 2020, and at least read that? I can't get past the chirpy cheerleader reading the extradition order to him. She sounds like she's leading a pep rally.
Exactly! Without the body, he did get away with the murder, so why did he want the body found? Did his lawyer suggest that the discovery of her body would strengthen his wrongful arrest lawsuit? Did he imagine that her body was worth millions?Give him his due - he thought he was being really thorough.... making sure the chemo port was there, dressing her bones (this is turning my stomach) in the clothing that would back up his story but he's just not clever enough to get it right. If he was going to move her at all, why not take a vacation to California or NYC or somewhere and leave poor Suzanne there? Or why'd he even move her at all - he'd got away with it so far. I bet he's sick that he chose someone else's hiding place. Lazy and obvious?
Also, the first post of this thread ( and every thread ) has helpful links.Thank you - yes I will try to go back to the very beginning thread. Given the fact that he was just arrested means I will have plenty of time to catch up before the actual trial happens...
I totally agree.I can't get past the chirpy cheerleader reading the extradition order to him. She sounds like she's leading a pep rally.
"Good evening! Welcome to Maricopa County Jail, Mr. Morphew! Do you know why we're here today? Looks like Colorado wants you back for charges related to...let's see here...murder!"
In comparison, Barry sounds rather subdued. Resigned, even.
Welcome to the rest of your miserable existence.

IMO - Cheating husbands. MOOSuzanne also said he would leave for days at a time and his phone would be turned off. She never knew where he was. Who does that?!
I have said from the beginning he planned the killing. Didn’t plan it well but it was premeditated for a long time. But I believe he decided to kill her before they left Indiana. I do not think he killed her over the affair. He killed her because he had lost control over her long before and he knew it.The smartest thing he did was conceal her well early on. The dumbest thing he did was move her after that. He micromanaged too many steps for too long. Every time you handle, move, or stage remains, you open up a new opportunity for forensic failure. His long-term control actually gave the case more angles to break.
I always thought whatever went down that weekend escalated quickly, she was leaving, the affair came out, emotions boiled over, and he kills her. This evidence tells a different story, he planned to kill her, he loathed her.
Sadly, I think her end was absolutely horrifying and she had more awareness than we want to believe. She knew he was killing her. imo
I do it.Suzanne also said he would leave for days at a time and his phone would be turned off. She never knew where he was. Who does that?!
I thought the same thing….bizarre given this man was just arrested for the murder of his wife!I can't get past the chirpy cheerleader reading the extradition order to him. She sounds like she's leading a pep rally.
I thought the same. Do they train them to sound like that? Does it give the criminals a false sense of security?I can't get past the chirpy cheerleader reading the extradition order to him. She sounds like she's leading a pep rally.

I’ve heard of a few. Friends husbands, etc. They usually make up lies, make thwir wives believe them.IMO - Cheating husbands. MOO
I just cannot fathom why he took the risk of burying her somewhere so near a road where someone could have seen him.Exactly! Without the body, he did get away with the murder, so why did he want the body found? Did his lawyer suggest that the discovery of her body would strengthen his wrongful arrest lawsuit? Did he imagine that her body was worth millions?
He made sure that she was found near their house with her clothes and chemo port - a staged death scene to ensure that one interpretation is that she was abducted and dumped.
He must have assumed that evidence of BAM would be in soft tissue and hair, never expecting that metabolized BAM would be in her bone marrow.
