Regarding the discovery of the body, if we work backwards we might find the answers to why he moved the body. All ... just an opinion

Suzanne's remains included the majority of her bones, with many bones "significantly bleached" (either through sun/environment, or chemical use). Her chemo port was with her bones, as were some of her biking clothing. It was determined that these remains were placed at that location some time after she was murdered and decomposed.

That means that whoever placed her bones at that second location wanted to ensure that when she was found, she would be easily identified. If that was not the objective, her chemo port and clothing would not have been placed with her bones.

That means that her murderer had a specific reason for wanting her to be found, unrelated to where she was originally hidden. That is, she was not moved because someone was close to discovering her body, but because her murderer had a personal reason for wanting her death to be confirmed.

The obvious reason for Barry wanting Suzanne to be found is because he wanted $15M for "wrongful arrest", and the best way to prove that case was to demonstrate that Suzanne was killed while biking near their house. The only flaw in the plan is that BAM can be found in bone marrow.
Maybe he thought all the bleach and or other chemicals would interfere with the bone DNA extraction/identification, so those extra items would ensure positive identification of the remains as Suzanne's.

Was it so that the remains would be identified as Suzanne's, with her sweatshirt?
It could be.

And it may be that BM's successes with IE as his lawyer made him feel invincible - so much so that he thought he could orchestrate discovery and identification of her remains by moving them and placing readily identifiable items with them - without ALSO providing any evidence against him (such as the BAM in her bone marrow).

Three cheers to the body telling its own story regardless of BM's attempt at narration.

His own words got him- He was the only private citizen who had access to those drugs

ALAMOSA, Colo. — A grand jury indictment against Barry Morphew, charging him with first-degree murder for the death of his wife, Suzanne Morphew says he was the only private citizen in that entire area of the state who had access to the combination of drugs found in her system during an autopsy.
Suzanne Morphew, 49, was reported missing on May 20, 2020 - which was Mother's Day. She lived in Maysville in Chaffee County, west of Salida, with her husband, Barry, and their two daughters. When she vanished, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office said she went for a bike ride but never returned home. Her remains were found in September 2023.

It's so weird though, isn't it... that among the clothing items was a "Crested Butte" sweatshirt?

I get the Nike tank and Yeti shorts for bike riding, but every photograph I've seen of SM out on a bike trail has her wearing a high-quality zip-up biking jacket. And didn't the younger daughter's boyfriend - when talking to LE outside the Morphew home after he went to check for SM there - say SM always wore something like that to bike?

So is the theory BM was trying to sell with dressing her remains as he did for the secondary site that she was abducted from home before changing into the jacket to go bike riding? But weren't the doors of the Puma Path home found locked?

The clothing she was ultimately found with, sounds like what she would have changed into from her bathing suit? So was she really ever in riding clothes?

What about the bare foot prints found in the bucket of the bobcat? Was he chasing her around outside the home?

No shoes were ever found, in the closet or with the body?

Maybe he thought all the bleach and or other chemicals would interfere with the bone DNA extraction/identification, so those extra items would ensure positive identification of the remains as Suzanne's.
First I was thinking sun bleached, that she was somewhere in the vast Colorado wilderness (remember Barry lying on the ground in that spot). It would be hard to transport skeltonized remains without a container. I guess I should read about the antler business and see if they chemically clean them in some way. Did he bleach in a container, drain it and then drive it to the spot? Or gather up what was left of Suzanne after she was just bones, and then toss her and her clothing into that shallow grave?

What I don't get is when and where all he moved her to. I mean, surely LE were watching his every move?
Right you’d think they were watching his every move but based on some recent discussion, imo there’s a few reasons (potentially more) BM moved SM remains undetected:

1.) LE at some point scaled back surveillance of BM for some reason
(case dismissed, not enough time or resources to continue to devote heavy surveillance etc.)

2.) jumping off reason #1, if LE weren’t literally tailing BM/his every move 24/7, BM may have been able to be a step ahead of LE i.e., by the time they figured out or had intel on a potential location, BM had already removed her from the location

3.) Someone else, yet to be identified, and not being surveilled by LE moved SM’s remains from 1st location to Moffat for BM (this one’s more of an outlier for me but not totally impossible)

However he did it, I hope it haunts his sleep for the rest of his miserable life.

So have I waiting for his arrest. I feel young again!
I can remember someone saying it would happen when no one was expecting it and one day we would log in and see the Suzanne thread at the top of the page with a growing number of posts!
How right they were!

Or a fed up one.
I been married to my husband for 20 plus years.
4 kids , all grown , Kids with serious medical conditions .
I didnt start taking off for days until the kids were grown .
My husband would not be shocked to not see me for a few days and get a call I am in KS ,or Texas .
SC. Love that man.
Nebraska might make him question ,things as would most trips north ,
I can’t even say what I am thinking. I cannot imagine!

Snipped from article:

Iris Eytan, Barry Morphew’s civil attorney who filed one of the complaints against the former prosecutors, said in a statement to The Denver Gazette on Friday: "In 2021, I had the honor of defending Barry's innocence. Not only is he a loving father, but he was a loving husband."

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

His cousin, Jason Morphew, disagreed.

"Barry was always a heartbreaker and he certainly broke mine. He was my childhood hero," Jason Morphew told The Denver Gazette. "I hope the actions of the investigation today bring justice one step closer for Suzanne."
