I get the Nike tank and Yeti shorts for bike riding, but every photograph I've seen of SM out on a bike trail has her wearing a high-quality zip-up biking jacket. And didn't the younger daughter's boyfriend - when talking to LE outside the Morphew home after he went to check for SM there - say SM always wore something like that to bike?

So is the theory BM was trying to sell with dressing her remains as he did for the secondary site that she was abducted from home before changing into the jacket to go bike riding? But weren't the doors of the Puma Path home found locked?

I really just think Barry didn't pay enough attention to her and what she was wearing, He couldn't be bothered and so he just grabbed something he knew could be traced to her. That sweatshirt was something she was photographed in before so maybe he just grabbed it. He had no idea what she wore when she was biking. IMO

Remember the empty box LE found in the bathroom vanity at Puma that was for a tiny camera. Barry said the camera was cheap and that it was worthless so he threw it out or something to that effect. He was def using it to spy on her - she thought he had it hidden, in the wall mounted animals' eyes, in the bonus room.
He had cameras everywhere.
I feel certain with the level of planning and the sheer contempt and loathing he felt towards her - he knew of the affair.
This killing as all have stated was not spur of the moment.
Did we ever find out who planned the girls trip for M and M? I think Macy was a tag along with her college age sister and her roommate.
But such convenient timing. Maybe he just saw the opportunity then and seized it.
Being married and living with him had turned into a long slow death for her.
The cancer opened her eyes that life is fleeting and she deserved better. Her fling with JL brought her a renewed sense of joy and confidence.
And then he treats her to a barbaric killing ? The mother of his daughters?
Twisted and sick - we all knew. Depraved beyond words
I bet the women of the greater Phoenix area are breathing a sigh of relief.

I wonder where Morgan his worker is these days. We know Puckett sadly died of an overdose ( It was either aliens or Barry ) and Sho ...where is Sho?

The obvious reason for Barry wanting Suzanne to be found is because he wanted $15M for "wrongful arrest", and the best way to prove that case was to demonstrate that Suzanne was killed while biking near their house. The only flaw in the plan is that BAM can be found in bone marrow.

Yes - I hadn't even considered the compensation - I thought that in his arrogance, he just thought he would prove himself right to all those who doubted him and thus exonerate himself by including some sort of biking gear with her remains. But same outcome :-)

Oh was Jason the one helping very early on and then he abruptly left, and we didn't hear from him anymore? If I recall maybe he was posting on a FB page set up to help find her and maybe he helped with that video Barry did that was so darn awful. Is this the one?

I have always wondered if Barry had something to do with Puckett's death ,either by giving him a large sum of money or via a third person supplying him with drugs.

Sorry, haven't followed this in years but I'm confused as to why BM is just now being rearrested. Wasn't SM's body found two years ago with that drug in her bones? Why such a long wait for arrest? tyia

The nephew helping BM in the earliest days of SM's disappearance had the initials "TN."

Maybe whatever he used to break down the flesh on her body - maybe he just dumped that straight onto her and the actual biking outfit.

I wonder if the port showed signs of being used (biological matter that matches her or traces of the cancer drug she was taking). I wouldn’t put it past him to have gathered a spare one to dump in with her for more proof. (I know ports are generally changed in a medical setting but when my son had one we also had emergency sets at home that doctors gave us).

Ports have a serial number and are registered with the company and part of the surgical medical record. They are unique.

Did the BAM kill her? The autopsy says method was unknown but lists BAM ingredients as being present. So I'm guessing they don't know, either. Certainly, there might be evidence if there had been a shooting or head trauma but otherwise.... I think chances are yes, but can't be proven.

iirc you could see some of the mountain ridges Barry claimed to Andy's friend were Crested Butte in the distance from the bluff where Barry laid down on the ground with "grief " during one of the search parties .
Maybe Crested Butte held some memories for him/them and it was like his last denouncement of her

Barry was indicted by a Grand Jury on 18th June and was subsequently arrested on the 20th June after a warrant was issued.

When insects or animals interact with bones, they typically leave evidence. It's microscopic. The method I was trained in involves using a thin layer of gold on the bones and a special, high power microscope. Since then, they have even more powerful scopes.

There would certainly be organic matter from the bugs. The clothing showed no evidence of the byproducts of decomp, so she decomposed somewhere without that set of clothing.

I agree with those saying he put her into one of his large hunting coolers (probably wrapped in something). I think that if bleach or peroxide or similar were poured onto her that this too would be detectable in the bones (if she was left to decompose with those chemicals applied). He likely rewrapped her before transporting her (leaving behind the hair). Knowing Barry, he probably just tipped the contents of the first package into a tarp or something.

The part that's mystifying me, a bit, is how he managed to transport her skeleton to the grave site and whether the bones were scattered in a manner consistent with the bones being still somewhat intact (held together by cartelige fibers?) It has occurred to me that he may have simply dumped what was in the container (unwrapped) at the burial site. We don't know when he put the bones there. They could have sun bleached in situ. Being 3 feet under sandy soil out there would result in fairly warm temperatures in the summer. If the bones were scattered by animals, the most likely animals would be birds and so far, no mention of that in the forensic reports (which have not been fully released).

Microscope marks on the bones should also give evidence of any birds or other wild creatures interacting with the bones. I can see how they might leave that part out, as it's not relevant to establishing guilt and would be hard for family members to read, until they are ready to know all the details.

I haven’t found this to be the case in my personal experience but happy to learn more.

Can anyone confirm this? Like, we know they found the port, and she had one, but has it been confirmed this one was hers via DNA or drug remnants? Was this done through confirmation from her medical records by matching a serial number? (Not could it be, please, was it.) Or still unknown?
