They should be in the surgical records & the serial numbers are on file with the company that produced them, in case of recall or problems. Maybe I misunderstood your original post as you stated it had not been your experience.

I wouldn’t consider a medical device to be an accurate way to identify a body if the body was in pieces & as stated the port wasn’t attached to any ligaments, etc.
I’ve had two hip replacements, one shoulder replacement and another coming in July, each post has a serial number in my medical records what weird is there’s always someone from the manufacturer in the operating room while you have surgery so I imagine it’s in their records too.

That is weird.
And sorry you have to do all that. I am so over doctors it isnt even funny.

Yes, in case of a recall or problem with the joint. Manufacturers’ are very protective of their technology & want to oversee it all!

Then I’ll shall just be patient and I imagine the match will come out later in all the evidence that will be brought out. :) Thanks peeps, always glad for discussion, but very sorry @Whiteorchids that you had to experience that. Hope you are soon feeling your best self.

IMO, great move by the State to keep all the details of SM's remains under wrap so team Barry had no time to spin why SM did not decompose in the Moffat grave, or why her "staged bike clothing" was void of the same! We already saw how they tried to spin BAM when detected in SM's toxicology. And wow, did that backfire ever so beautifully! See SM's Autopsy pgs 1-4 at the MSM link below:

According to the autopsy report, Morphew died from “homicide by unspecified means in the setting of butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine intoxication.” The report goes on to say, “these drugs are marketed as a compounded injectable chemical immobilizer for wildlife.” The report says the medical examiner received Morphew’s remains in bags containing bones and clothing to include a sweatshirt reading “Crested Butte”, a Nike tank top, and Yeti shorts. A ski mask and weathered bullet are noted as evidence in the report, but there is no mention of DNA found on any items or DNA testing to said items.

[..]

Lawyers representing Barry, Jane Byrialsen and Iris Eytan, sent the following statement to 11 News:

Despite the fact that unknown male DNA was found in Suzanne’s car, where her bike was parked, on her bike grips, handlebars, and bike seat, the authorities will not tell the Morphew family whether Suzanne’s bike clothes, collected seven months ago with her remains, have been tested for DNA. DNA left on her clothing by the murderer could bring justice for Suzanne, her family and the community. The authorities will also not provide the Morphew’s any information regarding whether they have performed any testing on the bullet that was collected with Suzanne’s remains.

Thanks, they honestly didn't look that big to me in pictures.

Do we have pictures of the actual coolers owned by Barry Morphew just prior to the murder? This is the type I'm thinking of:

I live out west, and see them all the time in the backs of trucks.

I was confident there would be another shot down the road, but I was absolutely positive an arrest was coming once they found her body.

I’ve said it over and over, you don’t pass up on a high profile, career making case, once you finally have the goods.

We got completely deked by Kelly recently, when she talked to the media about empaneling another grand jury. She made it sound like the summer was out, because the schedule was busy. So I was hoping we’d have something by the fall.

That grand jury was likely hearing evidence as she said that.
How appropriately sneaky of Kelly if true, I like that Barry was likely thrown off guard as well. Driving along in Gilbert, Az not a care in the world. Then BAM - he’s in cuffs and headed to jail …

That IS cool but you would think the right to privacy during a medical procedure would prevent that.
I’ve also had a replacement & they are considered part of the surgical team. I’m sure we signed/gave permission. I had rather a rep be in the OR because they know the replacement joint, provide technical advice & are very protective of how it is placed.

Did he wear the ski mask while digging the grave? Or just throw it in for good measure, cuz every good abductor wears one?

I remember right Chlorine is a heavy gas, ...
Anyway if there is ever a serious Chlorine leak , I have been advised to climb on a roof and wait it out.
I know a few class 3 Wastewater operators.
Chlorine
This line from the link above.
''Chlorine is turned into a liquid for storage and transport. When liquid chlorine is released, it quickly turns into a gas that stays close to the ground and spreads quickly''
Okay. TY .

I’m thinking that’s going to change? If he’s the only person to have the dart chemical in Colorado? Will be interesting to see how it progresses.
One would hope so, but if Websleuths has taught me anything, it's the level of denial people can be in regarding the behavior of their nearest and dearest.

So True!
