Agreed, though, that this particular case-- the vomit emoji is essential. I haven't followed this case except in the most general terms, but even on those most general and vague terms-- he's guilty. REALLY guilty.

PROFOUNDLY guilty, jmo. I'm amazed he's been trotting around free as long as he has, quite frankly.

The Daily Mail has an exclusive interview with Shoshona Darke, which is very interesting.

Her relationship with Barry fizzled in 2024, and the BAM revelation seems to have ended it.

She alludes to emotional abuse and controlling behavior.

She does say that Barry is a good father, and his daughters have likely not seen that side of him.

They continue to be supportive, which is no surprise.

She could be a very important prosecution witness, which is something I’ve long predicted.

This is EXACTLY what you'd be looking for to just ice him completely. I'm seeing articles claiming he was a great dad. Great dads don't kill someone's mom. This guy's amazing in the worst way possible. Murdering husbands (convicted and alleged)-- they seem to sometimes be the stuff of absolutely the most twisted, bizarre cases you'll ever see legally. It's like nobody wants to believe it.

RIP Suzanne.

If Barry is so innocent, you would think they want want to exercise his right to a speedy trial. That way they could be done with it & Barry could walk away a free man forever. (According to them.) Especially since he will wait in jail in CO prior to trial.

Back in May 2020 when the authorities were searching the Puma Path residence & area a bare foot print was found in the dirt on the front- end loader scoop? Or the bobcat scoop? (Some type of heavy equipment). I'm unable to find reference to that now. Whenever I read about Suzanne's feet missing I think about that footprint.
I think it got there when she was running and trying to hide from Barry . I think she was sunbathing when he came home and she wasn't wearing shoes. If Barry moved Suzanne when her body was bleached skeleton why were all the other bones accounted for, except for her feet?

I think of that awful man burying an entire sofa he didn't want anymore using heavy equipment back when they lived in Indiana. Could he have been using that same equipment to bury Suzanne and somehow broke her ankles when moving or pushing her body with that equipment?

My heart hurts for her. She deserved to be happy and free.

Thinking about how she died brings up horrible scenarios. To answer your last question about Barry regretting anything, my answer is a flat NO.

I’m old, been married to the best guy on earth (IMO) for forty years but my first marriage was not wonderful like this. I was young. He was a narcissist. i can relate to Suzanne in so many ways. He made me believe he was God’s gift to me. He could sweet talk any woman he met and he justified anything he did. Our relationship grew worse as I began to grow and stand up to him. I can tell you it doesn’t get better. That kind of person does not understand the word no. They’re always right.

I do believe he was angry and likely assaulted her. I do believe she left those marks on his arm. I do believe she was just a dead animal to him, not unlike a deer he had tranquillized.

The only question in my mind as a potential juror is how it all went down. It really doesn’t matter. She had BAM in her system. I just cannot imagine a man like him wanting to rape a woman who cant fight back (because of BAM). I rather think he would enjoy letting her fight, knowing she couldn’t win and I don’t believe it was the first time.

I believe is there is only one person on the jury who has ever known a narcissist on any level will know he is guilty as charged.

I don’t think it bothered him in the least to play up to his daughter’s goodwill and give them a line of stories about how wonderful he was. My concern for them now is how they will relate to other men. They are grown and ready to pursue their own interests and he has likely destroyed their abilities to know a good man from a bad one.

I have been so angry at Suzanne’s daughters since seeing them beaming alongside BM when his charges were dropped. Thank you, @Love Never Fails for humanizing them and helping me feel compassion towards them.

The fake wanna be Suzanne girlfriend/lackey? I am sorry, I have no use for her. She connived and helped BM during the entire time that this case was going on. I don't know where she was these past years and I think she'd make a terrible witness for the State.

Remember she went back to the Puma Path property after the murder and picked up a package for BM that was 'accidentally' delivered there? Trespassing signs be damned. Yeah, no.

I don't trust her or believe a word she says now. She's probably trying to CHA because I think she knows more than she's ever said.

Mountain lions, cults... We all know need to remember a dangerous world it is out there!

I'd almost wonder if he didn't solicit criminals for rides in her vehicle to leave DNA. Maybe he already knew some, I'm seeing in an online search now that landscaping is a field that will often be open to giving offenders second chances. And I think of Rifkin, too, an SK, he was a landscaper. This isn't some diss on landscapers, I'm just wondering about the DNA profile in the vehicle. I can't wait to see this guy in prison. He's lucky no DP in Colorado. They're going to have no problems with finally putting an end to his run now, despite the usual tough talk from the D. (jmo)

Haven’t read the article but I doubt that a narcicisst has not been controlling with the girls or abusive. What happens is they love them to death, then scream and are abusive for no reason, then cry and tell them they are all he has and he has been soooo misunderstood. Then they feel sorry for him and it’s back to control. I’ve seen it over and over. The kids become neurotic at some point. Don’t expect them to turn on him unless they can make a very hard break from him.

IMO.

I never feel comfortable chatting about their daughters but it seems obvious to me that they blame their mother for the breakdown of their parents marriage which they thought was just fine. The younger witnessed some of the arguments apparently and perhaps has deeper insight since she was living at home when the marriage started to fall apart in earnest. Then they sat in a courtroom knowing that LE couldn't find evidence that their father was cheating on their mother at least after the move to Colorado. SD came into the picture after their mother disappeared or so that's all we know on record. I don't think any of us can know what they think in their hearts and minds and from my perspective it's none of my business, but publicly they are sticking with their father at least up to this point. Why they are estranged from their mother's side of the family is any guess and clearly there are probably dynamics there we are not privy to. On surface or at least from what we know they weren't frequent visitors either in Colorado.
