Now that Barry Morphew is behind bars again for the murder of his wife Suzanne, investigators have given some insight into the additional clues and evidence at their disposal should Morphew stand trial once again.

The fake wanna be Suzanne girlfriend/lackey? I am sorry, I have no use for her. She connived and helped BM during the entire time that this case was going on. I don't know where she was these past years and I think she'd make a terrible witness for the State.

Remember she went back to the Puma Path property after the murder and picked up a package for BM that was 'accidentally' delivered there? Trespassing signs be damned. Yeah, no.

I don't trust her or believe a word she says now. She's probably trying to CHA because I think she knows more than she's ever said.

I have been so angry at Suzanne’s daughters since seeing them beaming alongside BM when his charges were dropped. Thank you, @Love Never Fails for humanizing them and helping me feel compassion towards them.

IMO: Barry's daughters have been damaged for life. If he does go to prison, which I wholeheartedly believe he will, and they continue to support him, their pool of opportunity to land a decent man will be very small. Very sad all the way around for them.

Do you guys remember when that YouTuber ran into Barry near a creek out of nowhere a few days after the murder, and BM asked him who he was and if he was recording? The guy said No, and of course he obviously was.

BM launched into what happened was LE had seen 'Mountain Lions' around the area and their property and believed Suzanne was killed by one. BM had his beloved sleeveless tank top on and was wet. What if he was up to some disposing at that time?

I don't know if it fits, but I think Barry damaged Suzanne's phone and then pitched it into the creek, staged to look like she got herself in the water, dragged there by the pawless mountain lion, crossed over to the otherside from where it dragged her up the mountain to eat her, biking shoes first.

When LE wouldn't publicly reveal which items were recovered, he didn't know if they'd found her phone, which he wanted them to find. Maybe that's what he was checking on that day. Waterlogging a cracked phone should be a good way to destroy data.

I wonder what his working theory of staging actually was. Pedaling uphill when a mountain lion knocks her off the road? She and the bike, all atumble? Then carries her off with nary a disturbance? Then later, drags her helmet to the curb, for citywide helmet pick up day? Or had she now been kidnapped by a rando who tossed her bike for reasons, pausing a few miles later to toss her helmet, wouldn't want to hold onto THAT piece of incrimination. Maybe Rando also threw out her biking shoes. With her feet still in them.

I think it’s the first time we have ever heard anything from Sho on the subject of her relationship with Barry or at all, so I thought it was a good read and food for thought.
I have always wondered if she was a victim or accomplice. With her background as a trauma nurse I can see how she attracts the stray type narcissist and is maybe more of a victim and perhaps an unwitting enabler. I bet she knows more than she thinks she does.
The fact she agreed to wear the Suzanne wig at the Antler - I’d like to know how she agreed to that. Just under his spell ?
She referred to Barry as a broken man. I think he was always broken but I am wondering if even more so since the killing.

Listening to him at his extradition hearing he did sound meek and broken. Surprisingly so.
He’s almost 60 now - and looks washed up. No more Botox in the forehead and his hair looks like a home dye job.

It’s foolish talk on my part but I wonder if he’d take an Alford plea to spare the girls and his elderly the trial.

At this point, they would likely need major therapeutic intervention akin to the deprogramming sessions that people who leave cults have in order to undo all the brainwashing techniques that have been used on them.

It was weird. It was actually a prosecution witness, if I recall, and Iris wrote a motion that blasted the accuracy of that sort of thing, but then the testimony helped the defense in some way, so it suddenly became accurate.

except when closure using adhesive strips is anticipated...*
...as ,perhaps, when such closure strips are all that may be found,
stat,
in the medicine chest of the Puma Path premises one is house-sitting..

Yes I remember. I do not believe calling her his girlfriend while Suzanne was missing is bashing her as I do not see her as a victim. She wore a wig to resemble Suzanne or to hide who she was at the Antlers and she trespassed on his “former” property to retrieve a box for him. Women are smarter than she wants to apprear.

She knew what he was accused of and she could connect the dots as well as anyone could.

For five years there have been posters wanting to argue every piece of evidence so that Barry looks innocent. He is not innocent, not even until “proven” guilty.

All of us have an opinion and it is only an opinion. I won’t go into the weeds with those trying to pull me there.

Iirc they brought in a tracker dog from the penitentiary.

Dog rooted around, gave chase to nothing.

So much so, the handler didn't even write up a report which Iris seized on, calling it withholding discovery. The dog was sniffing for a scent and IMO found none.

Not even sure how that particular dog was trained. Any of them for that matter. Whether trained to track a particular scent (after sniffing a personal item) or track a human shedding stress pheromones.

Iris glommed onto an email iirc from the handler, then represented to the judge that the State was withholding a report. There was no report and again iirc he then wrote a report, like two sentences, which the State then supplied. Dog was a nonstarter.

Not the dog's fault. Suzanne was never there.

I recall Miss Darke saying something about people saying she looked like Suzanne.

In Suzanne's wig, she may well.

Covid pandemic, cancer diagnosis/treatment/chemo, Suzanne wasn't probably leaving the house much.

How convenient for Barry if he could swap in wig-sharing Suzanne 2.0. I suspect those two were comparing Bibles long before October and long before Mother's Day.

I do believe they met at the dumpster. A nice gathering space. Barry, taking out the trash... coming home zipper down.

It coalesces with known details.

I've said it before, no way was Suzanne walking on that Wednesday hand in hand with Barry, and done-done the very next day.

I believe Barry met up with SD that day, and in the dark, passed Suzanne 2.0 for Suzanne 1.0. And had been doing so for quite some time.

My question is, what was Suzanne’s height
vs
the cooler’s length
If she would fit into the cooler intact, maybe he ended up using a shorter capacity to desiccate/mummify her.

(Sorry for being so blunt, but I have a strong suspicion that his way of obtaining the antlers was far from ethical, either).

Suzanne was 5'4", so 64ish inches.
