Found Deceased CO - BARRY ARRESTED AGAIN - Suzanne Morphew, 49, Chaffee Co, 10 May 2020 *Case dismissed w/o prejudice* *found in 2023* #117

I hate quoting my own post, but just still thinking on the bones and missing shoes. I was thinking it wasn't as unusual that there were missing feet because there are other missing bones-- but this actually is just as weird because there was no predation. At first, I was assuming well, there may have been predation at an earlier time. But just looked it up and they can tell based on all those bones recovered if there was predation.

Not liking to be so graphic, but is it possible that there was indeed predation to some extent and the bones were moved in part for that reason? And that's why there is not a complete skeleton? I have no idea if that is possible.

Or, and I'd hate to think this but what if he kept her in water secured to the bottom by her feet like in cement? He goes to move her but can't because her feet were weighing her down, so he moved the rest of her. It would look even more suspicious if she was found with her feet encased in something or attached to weights of some kind. Didn't Scott Peterson make his own weights with cement? We know barry liked to listen to true crime so perhaps he got an idea from that? There was a lot of talk about her being in water and then there is that bizarre story of barry being all wet when Suzanne's brother encountered him near the property one day while there was a search party looking for her. I guess they could tell if she was under water for any length of time though and I haven't read the autopsy report. I'm just offering a possible reason why the feet are missing.

I don't know if anyone is familiar with the Can/Am Missing Project? They investigate people who have gone missing in the wilderness. There are several stories of bodies being found with missing shoes and feet. Some of those are related to predation but I don't know if this is kind of a unique or unsloved phenomenon. I just recall several stories where this happened to people and they all happen with bodies that have been exposed to the elements over time.

For example there was a story of a missing hunter who was very capable of surviving in the wild. He had gone missing with several search parties coming up with nothing. Then one day someone found the hunters boots but not the body. It wasn't until a few years later where the body was found. They found him leaning up against a tree with his clothing on and everything, however his feet were missing!! He was many miles away from where his boots were found!!! No one could explain it and it just added to the mystery. Anyway that is not the only case I've heard of of people being found without their feet

Way late to the posting party but wanted to catch up on the all the posts first. I posted several times in the past that I had lost faith he would ever be prosecuted. I am so grateful to be have been so wrong and now am humbly eating my crow. Kudos to all of you who never lost the faith in justice for Suzanne!

The woman they were searching for when they found Suzanne has been found. Rest in peace

Barry got lucky IMO that Suzanne's inspirational calendar opens simultaneously to Saturday/Sunday. 1000% he wouldn't have thought to turn the page to Sunday if it didn't share the page with Saturday.

The coffee, he didn't stage it (MOO). His attention was getting rid of her, all in. The house was much as Suzanne left it. Her morning cup. Her bikini back in her closet. He didn't see the cartridge, overlooked her bike shorts. Probably grabbed whatever was in her car, like her bike jacket.

I still can't decide the route by which the Crested Butte sweatshirt came to be reunited with her remains. Hard to imagine he saved any of her things.

He didn't even bother to sweep out the fireplace. Reducing Suzanne's written thoughts to ash. That should be its own crime.

I really hope LE located all of Suzanne's empty tombs and can piece together how this vibrant lady who got a third lease on life wound up in pieces ...

Everything that man did in the Dark, may it all come to light.

As to the coffee cup on the counter, I do wonder how tidy Suzanne was. Would she have left her morning coffee sitting there, or did she put the cup in the sink and Barry took it out later? There was no Sunday cup of Joe. Definitely Saturday, unless Barry brewed his own before he left. Maybe he needed the caffeine to stay up Saturday night doing whatever it was that he did.

Suzanne had all evening and next morning to do her chores list (well, she would have if angry Barry hadn't come home). Midday, she was completely distracted from them, by JL. Outdoor LinkedIn.

Bet that used up a lot of her cellphone battery... which she must have plugged in for a charge, especially if a bike ride was upcoming. I think she genuinely missed BM's calls/texts because she wasn't with her phone. No reason to be. JL after getting busy (with Suzanne) got busy (running errands, possibly with his kids.

I think she just happily abandoned that mug. And Barry never saw it, just part of the natural landscape of their kitchen.

I don't know who raised Barry but he strikes me as the kind of man who NEEDS a woman. For the validation, for the sex and for the free cleaning. He doesn't know how to clean up after himself. Trailer, truck, garage, dirty dishes, dirty clothes, dirty towels, strewn across his hotel room.

IMO Barry had reason to grab Suzanne's CB sweatshirt and the brown towel -- perhaps two of only a few out-of-place articles.

I don't know where he was at 3am, to be coming to back to PP, but I don't think he stepped back into the house that morning.

Instead, he stepped out of his overnight work clothes, climbed onto his BC bucket, leaving footprints and somehow transferring cadaverine as he did so.

Rocks in the Moffat grave? Tickle me silly if they came from the very river rock from behind PP.

If Barry borrowed a sim card, his Bobcat would register no movement, maybe that's all he did next day -- swap his SIM back in and leave it sleep the day away, no one any the wiser that it had worked hard all night.

'wild thought' ..... did not happen.... if she heard BM truck before he 'stole' her truck 'if she left the keys in her truck' ( smh ) .... when he returned her stolen truck and left in his truck .... why didn't she hear his truck when he left? .... just a wild thought

did she go outside or call him when it happened?

I think many or most of us lost faith. No need to eat crow.

Iirc she got ready to go. Barry, the kind of boss who, if he says jump, you jump.

By the time she was ready, he was gone. That she got ready is convincing to me that she was that convinced it was him.

I don't recall when they spoke that morning but he told her to assemble a team.

Perhaps Barry was thinking that MG would make a good alibi if he was with her all day but then thought better of it. He may have reeked of chlorine, he had bags of incriminating trash bags to keep hidden from her, and scratches. Best to just drive away.

So happy to see this.
I cannot help but feel there is some type of synchronicity to this whole “ relationship” or connection between Suzanne and Edna coming full circle /
LE looks for Edna, Suzanne is found, LE arrests Barry now Edna is found.
Meaningful coincidences suggesting
the universe is in some capacity setting things right.
Let’s hope Edna’s body tells her tale also so that there will be justice for her.
