Found Deceased CO - BARRY ARRESTED AGAIN - Suzanne Morphew, 49, Chaffee Co, 10 May 2020 *Case dismissed w/o prejudice* *found in 2023* #117

If life insurance was paid out would it have to be paid back if (when ) Barry is found guilty?

Life insurance redemption to the beneficiary would require the death certificate and assuming BM was the primary beneficiary, the case against him had been dismissed when SM's body was found. Most policies have a two-year contestability clause so I think that would have been up in April 2024 (Charges dismissed April 2022).

However, if BM knew that his daughters were the next named beneficiaries, I could definitely see a situation where BM would voluntarily disclaim the benefits to aid in a prompt distribution (i.e., where funds would be directed to the next named beneficiary).

I think we know how it works in that family. Just a paper transaction... MOO

Looney tunes logic right there! More likely if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

I’ll add a fourth possible scenario - this guy from Missouri is a nut-job. Sincerely hope that’s not his real name 🤣

Great post, didn’t think of that scenario. Bet you’re right.

I can't imagine a scenario where he chose that. It had to be incidental. Somehow the manner and/or location of storing, decomposing, recovering or moving resulted in a.... loss of mass. Hair, feet and quite a few other bones.

In water and some washed away?

Strange for sure.

But so are sho many if his

Am I wrong in remembering that not only had BM brought the wrong tools to the job 150 miles away, but he also took these tools to his hotel room. Were the tools cleaned and bleached there?

Help me remember from where BM stole MG's truck , for how long & did he park his truck where he stole MG truck from?

I'm trying to jump start my memories for Suzanne's case.

TiA

BM truck was heard outside MG house at 5am. No contact was made at that time by BM to MG . in my opinion there is a possibility that BM - who had no business being outside MG house, may have ‘swapped trucks’ to bury SM - 1. So his was not ID. 2. Not to place his truck at the scene. And then driven back and retrieved his. He later called MG about doing some ‘urgent’ job . Just a theory.

LMAO! His prediction that she was in a pond couldn't possibly be wrong so Bury or LE must have moved her from the pond. Or both, together while holding hands.

It’s never made sense to me that he would carry the suspected teal blue items of Suzanne’s into the hotel in Broomfield. I think it’s much more likely that he shoved them into a bag that night at the house and discarded them in one of those dumpsters.

Am I mistaken that all those stops happened before he went to the hotel? Or did he dump additional bags after this footage was captured?
I agree. It didn’t seem to me that he would carry the bike clothes openly into the hotel, since he had already set up the bike abduction scenario. Perhaps it was simply a mistake born of exhaustion. He’d had been awfully busy (and pumping adrenaline) for the preceding 18 hours and the hotel was his first stop since dumping her bike and helmet near the family home.

At 8:46 AM on Mother’s Day, Barry walked into the hotel carrying two white trash bags a khaki backpack, a pair of boots, a dark-colored item and a the blue-teal colored clothing (Arrest Affidavit page 35). Mr. Morphew’s worker Morgan Gentile told law enforcement, that at 11:15AM he called her and “was out of breath, panting but fatigue, kind a like hungover but he doesn't drink, honestly when I hung up I thought to myself he sounded like he had the worst night of his life." (Page 50 of the Arrest Affidavit). This supports the idea that he was zoned out and may have carelessly carried Suzanne’s biking clothes into the hotel without considering that he was being filmed or observed.

His disposal runs began after he entered the hotel with the teal blue colored material. Between about 10AM and 12:40PM he dumps items at a MacDonald’s, a Men’s Wherehouse and at the hotel. At 12:42 PM, Mr. Morphew entered his hotel room and did not leave his room until 6:03 PM.

Also, I wonder if his buddy George would be willing to help now. Surely he can't believe Barry is innocent now after this BAM revelation.

He could tell them everywhere Barry and him searched in the weeks and months after Mother Day Weekend 2020. I'm sure that could narrow down possible areas because I don't believe Barry would take George to search an area that he put Suzanne. So anywhere they looked can be marked off the list of locations for the first burial site.

I do wonder if LE could tell if they found the first burial site. Would there be outward signs now 5 years later that would indicate where he put her. Maybe some of her bones are still in that first location or other items of value.
At least rocks would have marked the location of the first grave or a planted bush/little tree, something, which would have helped BM to find the place again.

Thanks for pulling that information forward. That makes sense then. Does LE have a way of enhancing that photo I wonder? It’s another nail in his coffin, particularly because we now know she wasn’t wearing the teal blue jacket he described to LE and the store clerk, when she died.

Yep, he did that.
Mr. Cheapbutt who hangs dumping trash outside hotels to score free breakfast.... like Ratso Rizzo, is he picking up cigarette butts off the street, too? No, he (probably) doesn't smoke... This same guy wants us to believe financials motivate him to bury furniture. He could sell it. That house in Arcadia sold for like three quarters of a million in 2019, it's hardly a shabby shack, and I'm sure the furniture wasn't too shabby, either. And he put alfalfa on top of this... buried furniture?? Alfalfa was specifically mentioned as part of the breakdown mixture when I was reseraching composting. And yes, you can make compost piles like this, but no treated furniture/items of any kind because they'll release chemicals into the soil. Um, was that the idea? Composting? Because in light of what I read about the human composting, I'm finding this pretty alarming. I doubt it was the idea, I'm alarmed by any similarities in terms of what the idea "might be," but whatever the idea of it actually was, I find it hard to believe it's because of financials.

There's something up with that, jmo, and it's nothing good. Does anyone know which party-- Barry v Suzanne-- wanted the move to Colorado? They may both have, but one perhaps wanted it more than the other. (There may be no way to know this. Also, it might have been completely mutual.) When I look at images of the Indiana home, it feels much more feminine to me. The Colorado house has a very masculine feel to it. My guess would be that Barry would prefer the overall layout and vibe of that Colorado home, but it's guess only. And I'm wondering how the divorce suggestion played with that idea, him having to leave that house, where he'd become so comfortable... shooting chipmunks from the breezeway? You know, no amount of flannel shirts makes that read "tough," "hunter," or "outdoorsman" to me, but again, jmo. It reads as something far less innocuous and much more sinister because I'm sure the chipmunks were safe as BM's phone was pinging all over the place. They were probably the only ones that were.
