Hikers find human skull in Boulder County foothills

[Two hikers found human remains in the western Boulder County foothills earlier this week. ]

[On Tuesday, investigators from the sheriff's office, the Boulder County Coroner's Office, and Front Range Rescue Dogs were able to find the skull as well as other additional remains. ]

[This is the second time in a year human remains have been found in the Boulder County foothills. A skull was found by hikers near Mud Lake in October.]

I was thinking of Seth Kienzle (Almost a week since Denver man vanished) and Ryder Johnson (who has since been found) who went missing in Feb of 16.

I like Ernest a lot better though! At least until we get more info.

Ernest Macaulay, missing since 2011, thought to be suicidal.

Remains found in Brainard Lake Recreation Area belong to missing Boulder man

“Boulder County Sheriff's Office Cmdr. Mike Wagner confirmed on Saturday night that the remains found on Monday belong to Macaulay, who the sheriff's office launched an "extensive" search for in 2011.”
