Found Deceased CO - Brian Joseph Perri, 38, Mount Meeker, Rocky Mountain National Park, 30 Jun 2018

All those people who are out there looking for the missing and putting themselves at risk are my heroes, seriously :)
Indeed. The funny thing though with my friend and the other rock climbers is that this is what they love to do and are out there doing anyway, regardless of a mp, so it’s kind of like they get to help while doing what they normally do! But kudos to them indeed, and all the other searchers who are indeed putting themselves at risk!

The unofficial search for Brian Perri

"(JC) Fischer:

' He expressed no interest in quitting until his friend is found.

"I want to find Brian," he said. "I don't want my friend on that mountain. I want my friend home." '

Unfortunately, JC Fischer has reported on the @findbrianperri Facebook page that his body has broken down and he won't be able to search anymore:

He reports that he will still direct volunteer searchers and await Brian's return at the base of "that godforsaken mountain."

So sad. Bring Brian Perri home for JC!

Missing Person- Brian Perri

FYI: The link contains JC Fischer's goodbye message to Brian Perri.

I have to add, the friend that continued to look for him despite grueling conditions and stress fractures is a true definition of a hero. Brian was blessed to have him in his life. Everyone involved in this search and recovery mission is a hero. Rest in Peace Brian, you too were a warrior.

It seems that he likely fell not long after the summit photo he took. I was trying to orient the summit trail info to where the photo was taken on the summit (and where he likely fell).
Rest In Peace, Brian. I hope it’s not too soon to say that although he died too early, he died doing something he clearly loved.
