I think that after 7 years the family asked to declare him death. Normally there is an exact date of death. In this case there isn't so it's an approx. He is still missing/remains never found. Not sure if they close the case when somebody is declared death. I guess not.

It looks like Bruce was a day out to play golf on that Sunday. What was his background, what did he do for a living, was he married, children etc., who were his associates?

Unfortunately, there's little information; I'd like to know too. But if the car was found shortly afterward, how did he get away? On foot? In another car? Or did he take public transportation? Or perhaps with someone else?

I know, there is a lot of info missing. There must be family or extended family out there who know more about his background and his life.

Who knows, maybe some of his relatives sign up in Websleuths and collaborate with the information, it has happened many times in other disappearance cases.

@ProductiveOne
Have you found any matches for him? When you have time, can you take a look and work on them?
