Family, friends search for Fort Lupton man missing since Christmas Day

According to family and friends, Bryann Erives Medrano has been missing since the early morning hours of Christmas Day, and they’re are asking the public for help to try to find him.
Friends tell FOX31 that Medrano left a party around 4 a.m. on Christmas morning heading to his girlfriend’s house in Denver, but he never made it.

I looked at two photos that he posted of his girlfriend. There are very interesting comments from the girlfriend's ex - but I'm not pointing any fingers here. He was driving from a party in the dark. So many people have randomly gotten lost, disoriented or have had car accidents and somehow got hidden. :|

Also? According to their Facebook they were only in a relationship for just over a month.

How did I miss this one? He's missing from a very nearby town and I saw a friend repost it. I agree, who GF's ex commenting on his photos a few days after he went missing is...odd. Is she safe?

She needs to start a FB page for him so she can post a FAQ and keep her own profile more private. I agree, the ex could be a factor here - he doesn't come off as violent or angry, but rather heartbroken and desperate - not that those two things aren't a volatile mix.

"We were at the house of a friend celebrating Christmas Eve and suddenly he was not there with us," said Erick Erives.
Paul Gomez, a friend of the family, also said it was sudden. He says they were at the party when Erives asked him to accompany him to smoke a cigarette outside the house...

Relatives of Erives say that [Bryann's] girlfriend lives in Denver. The woman wrote a text message at 7 am on December 25 asking relatives about Erives' whereabouts.

Brian Erives was last seen about 4 a.m. Dec. 25. He was attending a party and stepped outside to take a phone call. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Erives is a Latino man. He is 6-foot-1 and weighs 205 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He drives a green 1999 Volkswagen Jetta with Colorado license plate YPQ869.

He was last seen wearing a No. 15 black Oakland Raiders jersey, a Raiders hat and red shoes.

The body of a man found in a car in a canal near Hudson has been identified as Brian Erives from Fort Lupton.

A bicyclist riding along Highway 52 called dispatch on Wednesday to report a car overturned down an embankment between Weld County Roads 41 and 43, investigators said.

This says they are investigating - nothing about what thy think happened. I am disgusted it took this long to find him, its like they didn't even bother pinging his phone.
