COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The search for answers continues 38 years after a baby was reported missing in Colorado Springs.

So. I'm not really familiar with ho0w the Ancestry and 23 and Me type programs/businesses work. I do know one can submit their DNA and hopefully find relatives and other pertinent genetic info (i.e if an ancestor 100 years back d×Ed of a disease that can be passed down and maybe now treated)or whatever it is they are looking to learn. But are these programs intertwined with say the smaller less known businesses. And the there is CODIS. Yes the FBI says its confidential. However since this is a criminal investigation would law enforcement be able to cross reference?

''One Colorado case yet to be solved surrounds the disappearance of a seven-month old child from Colorado Springs.

On July 15, 1986, Christopher Enoch Abeyta was abducted from his crib at his home on Ashwood Circle in the middle of the night. The investigation found the home garage door opener was missing and the basement window was open. Foul play is suspected.''

Christopher is a white male with blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. He was born on November 28, 1985, and was seven months old when he went missing.

In 2018, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released an age progression photo to show what Christopher might look like as an adult.'

Looks to be a cut and dried case based on a certain suspect's track record and relationship with the husband.

The real question is what did she do with Christopher? Would a woman scorned give the child away for adoption, or would she be much more likely to dispose of him?

Award-winning investigative journalist, Crystal Gutierrez and investigator, Louis Carlos have delved deeper into Christopher’s case. We are truly grateful to Beyond the Case and KOB 4 News out of New Mexico.

Looking forward to tonight's episode!!
I have bee following Christopher's case for a long time. So glad they interviewed Emma's brother.

If you didn’t see it yesterday, KOB4 News aired an interview with Robert Manzanares—Emma Bradshaw’s own brother.
In nearly 40 years since Christopher disappeared, we’ve spoken to countless people—witnesses, neighbors, co-workers, anyone who might have a piece of the puzzle. Not once has anyone opened a conversation by saying, "....I ain't got nothing to hide."
It’s a curious thing—why feel the need to defend yourself before anyone’s made an accusation?

Was the property that Emma and her brother owned in New Mexico ever searched?

The brother seemed kind of nervous to me when being interviewed, he seemed truthful but he kept playing with his strings on his pants. I am wondering if he knows more than he is saying.
