Absolutely disgraceful. Lets all laugh at the sound of an old woman's shoulder popping out, and if you did not catch it the first time, we will play it again and have another laugh.
I have seen posts about this on other sites claiming that she did not have dementia because she has her fingernails painted, by the defend police actions, no matter what they do people.

They are a disgrace to cops everywhere and horrible human beings.

The treatment of this woman by these animals is disgusting. She is/was 80 pounds and 74 years old? Not surprising but distressing that they are still cops.

Deplorable subhumans operating as police officers. This poor woman. I cannot imagine!

The creep who hog tied her and threw her on the ground should be fired- period. Administrative leave, my a$$. Hope he felt like a BIG MAN. SMH.

Besides whatever 'punishment' comes to those who laughed, I hope that each and every laughing body gets slapped upside the head...TWICE...from each of their mothers and grandmothers. Shameful.

That last video is something else. Sadistic. Sadly bullies are often drawn to jobs where they can wield power over vulnerable people.

I'd like to know why the internal investigation required after use of force apparently didn't turn up anything? Did the Sergeant referred to indeed "talk" to them later? There are a whole lot of questions that need to be answered here.

She was "made" to leave the items that she had not (yet) paid for at the store. So, she didn't leave the store and actually "shoplift" the items, if I am understanding this correctly.

Then, it seems that Hopp (the most evil of the three cops) apprehended her while she was walking home. I didn't watch the body cam footage yet (don't really want to--but should).

I have no doubt that Officer Austin Hopp will be taking a hop into a cell himself, after his trial. Something for us all to look forward to.

Because they 'investigate' themselves.

My understanding was that the store guard took the items back from her.

And that is going to turn around and bite them this time.
I wouldn't bet on that. This happened twelve months ago and only since it became public are they 'investigating' it.

At 52:12, Officer Daria Jalali returns from checking on Karen Garner in the holding cell and states: "She's complaining that they really hurt her."

She is either referring to being hurt in the arrest process, or that the handcuffs are hurting her wrists. Or both. She is cuffed to a bench inside the cell.
