48-year-old Darlene Montoya was last seen by her family on Feb. 12.

According to family, they believe she could be being held against her will. They added that she has posted once on her Facebook page since going missing, but the family believes someone was impersonating her.

I think family? Reluctantly? Like maybe they don't want to alarm her or whomever she might be with but felt it was necessary..IMO IMO. And maybe she's not missing alone?

I wonder what she posted on fb? no fb at work, so will check it out later.
Why does the family believe she is being held? She could be with a friend or whatever. Why jump to that conclusion. I wonder what they know about her background that we don't know.

From what I can see, all that is available for public view are her profile pictures and those comments. You cannot view her posts or friends list. You can't even see things she was tagged in.

I could see her posts. There really was only a couple of pics of herself posted. She didn't say anything. She responded to those that reacted to the pics. Just with a simple "thank you". But, she really stopped posting a lot of things since about December 2018. Not sure why they got the impression that they thought someone else was impersonating her, because there wasn't much to go off of.

Those are her profile pictures. There isn't a way to make your profile pictures non-public. She has her profile locked down, otherwise.

They didn't appear to be (those where the "whats on you mind" type. @ZhaZhaHa ... can you tell me this... can you remove certain posts from public view, but actually still have them, without hiding everything? I am not saying that is going on here... it is just something I have wondered in the past.

It looks like she locked her profile down sometime in July 2018. If you don't go in and make sure it's all private, then the older things will still show as public.

we went through a thing where it was necessary to completely lock down our facebook so nothing could be seen but those damn profile pics were always visible and cannot be deleted. That's why I haven't changed my profile pic in two years.

Also weird...I'm not getting back the same search results as I did yesterday when I put her name into Facebook. Her profile is there and unchanged, but I can't see the posts she was tagged in. Weird.

Body found at waste and recycling facility in Adams County
The Denver Police Department said Saturday morning that the body was found in the 600 block of West 53rd Place, which is immediately north of Denver city limits.

DPD is investigating alongside the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

The body is that of an adult.
