PD: Family concerned about missing woman, possible boyfriend

Authorities in northeast Colorado are asking for the public’s help finding an 18-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen for a week and a half.

The bf might be on the run

Santos Macias, 41, was reported as missing to the Sheriff’s Office in late March. However, Macias was seen two days later in the area of the New Concept Inn west of Fort Morgan.

After Macias was reported missing, a warrant was issued for his arrest on drug charges.

Body found in garage identified as missing man

Authorities say the body found in a garage Monday has been identified as a 40-year-old man first reported missing in March.

Fort Morgan Police haven’t said how they believe Santos De Santigao Macias died, or if foul played was involved.

Destiny is still missing.

He was believed by family to be her new boyfriend. It's not known for sure if they were together when they went missing, but it's being speculated by family & authorities that they were.

It comes just a week after 41-year-old Santos Macias was found dead in the garage of a vacant property and 19-year-old Destiny McMinn was reported missing. Macias was believed to be dating McMInn.


Investigators have not said whether they think there is any connection between the two deaths, but after Macias was found dead, the sheriff’s office said it was concerned about McMinn’s safety and was actively looking for her.
