A young woman’s body was found in an unmarked campsite in Rainbow Falls, northwest of Colorado Springs on June 15, 1993
She had injuries to her head and was half-naked wearing only a Harley Davidson T-shirt and some jewelry. She had no belongings or identification.

The results of the isotope test showed Jane Doe was very likely from Alaska or southern Canada. Detectives are now working to send her DNA and fingerprints to both places.

Some other technology detectives have used over the years to identify Jane Doe are clay composites. Two artists, several years apart, used her skull to come up with clay renderings of what they believe she looked like. Investigators believe she was somewhere between 13 and 20 years old when she died. Both images were released to the public, but no tips panned out.

Now the case rests in the hands of Cold Case Detective Jason Cirbo.

Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm currently working to ID this Jane Doe. Cassandra "Candy" Lalonde, I saw her named here earlier, she's literally my last match. I can find so little information on her though. I feel like I've reached the end of what I can do as far as document hunting online goes. The body type seems to match, the rate of decomp makes a few identifiers hard to know. The reports seem like there's more to it they haven't released, which I can understand. Her height could match, as a few years had passed and she was quite young. There is the motorcycle connection.
All the major missing persons sites have given me little information. Her Facebook page gives even less.
Some of the info they give is shaky, unconfirmed, and impossible to track, though I'm trying anyway.
There is almost no press on her. I went digging online, found one article from 2010 (she disappeared in '88). Even had the Westwego library dig for public records and local press, and there's nothing. It seems odd at her age (just 15) even with her troubled past, that there are no reports floating around from the time of her disappearance, even if she was a runaway, and a foster kid. There's an investigating agency attached, and a case number. Is it worth calling them, or am I better off submitting to the DoeNetwork? I can't even find names to get more information. Maybe someone here has some tips? Somewhere to go I'm not thinking of?

No, I never heard back from them. However, from my research, it appears that they were not a national or international company until several years after they opened in 1990.

Cassandra Ann Lalonde had a large scar on her leg from a cut that got stitches, and Rainbow Falls Jane Doe did not have a scar like that. She was also 5'3" at age 15 in 1998, and Rainbow Falls Doe was definitely 5'8". Girls usually grow 1-2 inches after they being to menstruate, but reach their adult height between the ages of 14-16, so it is unlikely that Cassandra Ann Lalonde would have grown 5 inches between the ages of 15 and 20.

Which is interesting considering that in 2003 the kidnapper told authorities he had buried her in a Bondi park where he worked as a gardener, and mapped the location of her grave. You'd think there was no chance she'd be here.

I submitted her for testing to the doe network last week. She's in the panels hands now, anyway.

We've seen lots of errors in height on both missing people and unidentified remains. Usually I go with three inches either way for both, and in this case, that would put Candy in range.

The Rainbow Falls Jane Doe page added the mugshot of the girl who got arrested and they got a tip that she may have gone to high school in Farmerville, Louisiana. Here is the girl:

Her facial features look pretty different than the recon, so I'm thinking it might not be her...plus Rainbow Falls Jane Doe's isotopes showed she was from Alaska or Canada, pretty far away from Louisiana.
