DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. Wow! Did she have a thread here? I do not remember hearing of her. Glad she has her name back. Was just looking at her case yesterday.

Looking at the pictures, she resembled the first composite, the one made out of clay and her hair was blonde.

I'm so curious about Becky. She was local, and she looks quite a bit like the composite and enough like the sketches, that I'm confused by this? How was she overlooked for so long?

Edited: This link gives a little more information. Becky was reported missing, but was likely homeless at the time. Perhaps the location where she was found was her camp/home? 'She is someone, she is no longer our Jane Doe': Woman found dead in 1993 identified

This shouldn’t have taken this long to connect. I’m curious to know what LE did after her family reported her missing. Cases like this should make it clear that responses like “she’s a runaway” or “she’s homeless” don’t work, and shouldn’t preclude someone from being entered into the system as a missing person.

It seems that she was well loved by her family and it appears that her missing person report wasn’t available on widely online databases.

I wonder what happened that she suddenly vanished.

She was homeless at the time of her death, apparently living in various state parks.

How terrible, maybe she got her clothing stolen from her, possibly from a fight.

"In January, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office retained United Data Connect to sequence the DNA sample from Jane Doe and conduct investigative genetic genealogy analysis. Results from the DNA sequencing were received in March 2020. Over 61 family trees of DNA matches from GEDmatch were built before her birth father was identified on May 14."

I think this one of her resembles the other composites more so.

Glad that she finally has her name back. Surprised and confused that it took so long to id her, given that she was a local and her family reported her missing. Isotope analysis was really off.
