I'm being framed I tell ya!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

“The driver attempted to switch places with his dog who was in the passenger seat, as the SPD officer approached and watched the entire process,” part of a post by Springfield Police reads. “The male party then exited the passenger side of the vehicle and claimed he was not driving. The male party showed clear signs of intoxication and when asked about his alcohol consumption the male party ran from the Officer. The male party was apprehended quickly within about 20 yards of the vehicle.”

"The dog does not face any charges and was let go with just a warning."
The warning was probably "Ruh Roh."

According to People Magazine, there were also two passengers in the car who were sober at the time.

So instead of attempting to switch places with one of the passengers in the car, he switched places with…his dog.

I bet he asked them to move to the driver’s seat and they said, “No way!”
Now which of the four is the stupidest? IMO it is the two sober people in the back seat…
Why would you get into the back seat of a car driven by a drunk guy and his dog?

LOL
IMO

Hhhmmm, some of us might favor either of the sober people driving in the first place...jmho of course!
At least one of the passengers apparently had a license too, because they were allowed to drive the car home!

Every once in a while there’s a news story about a drunk driver who had a sober passenger, and I’m always stumped. I guess a lot people actually don’t think that alcohol impairs their driving ability that much.

IMHO Although this did not have a bad outcome like killing innocents while driving drunk, I find it disturbing that ANYONE would get in a car with a person drunk and driving. On the other hand, dog is cute. Unfortunately, pooch probably designated driver on other occasions. In my view of the world, drunk drivers on low on the food chain.
