KUSA - Mark Redwine

At about 15 min mark, MR begins talking about the morning Dylan disappeared and spending an hour trying to get Dylan to wake up. (MR states he wanted to leave by 6:30 AM to be in town by 7:30 AM to resolve a payroll issue -- he wanted to be first in line).

ETA:
In the video interview, MR states he after he talked to Ryan and learned he'd not been able to reach Dylan all day, he went to Marshall's office to report MR/friends had no contact with Dylan, 13.

MR states that Elaine contacted the Sheriff's office (vs Marshall) and that created a big ruckus (Sheriff said they had not talked to MR).

Exhibit #6 is clear that MR told Elaine he went to Marshall's office, and she contacted Marshall's office (not Sheriff). Per Elaine's text, Marshall stated they'd NOT talked to MR.

Peoples Exhibits #6-7 depict the SMS text messages.

(The call record logs (Exh 80) being discussed lag behind testimony and not uploaded for public viewing yet).

What a JERK! The first page of the first PDF is text communication between Mark and Elaine on 11/18 when Dylan flew into Denver.

Elaine - "Did u get Dylan ok?"
Mark - "Nope...didn't show up..."

[does the statement about Redwine 'being unemotional' open door to prior inconsistent statements? ]

State: Mr Moran was shaking a binder around in front of the jury, saying they should be allowed to hear these things---that is innapropriate

Judge--it was inappropriate

Moran--I dont even know what you guys are talking about

Can we recall prior witnesses and threat them as hostile witnesses?

Judge-Of course

Moran--then we will have to recall a few.

Judge---you guys didn't do your homework so I cannot make a fair ruling so you are now stuck with it

So I went back to old threads on here. So Mark claimed back then he rung Dylan that morning because he wanted to check if Dylan wanted to spend thanksgiving with him or go to Mark’s brothers house and he went in and brought some shopping . Dylan didn’t answer according to Mark but on them call logs are there any calls on the 19th morning time to Dylan?

It’s interesting to see how Marks Story has evolved over the years.

I thought I remembered him saying that he tried to call him that morning but it had been so long ago that I wasn't sure if I was remembering right. Based on the testimony, the first call to Dylan's cell phone from Mark's cell phone on 11/19 was 2:24pm. He did text Dylan on 11/19 at 8:42am, 10:15am, 11:23am and 2:33pm. The first incoming call to Mark's landline at 11/19 is from Mark's cell phone but not until after 4pm. Mark also has a work (cell?) phone and there were no texts or calls to Dylan and/or the home phone during the 18th or 19th.

He didn’t even have flight information- how lazy was he. That’s not exactly hard to find out.

Tracking and analysis of MR’s cell phone, work cell phone and home landline shows that on November 19 he called and texted Dylan’s phone
between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Called it one more time at 7:32 p.m.
Then did not call it again until 7:19 a.m. on November 20.

So the day DR goes missing and search and rescue is at his house until 1:00 a.m, he doesn’t call or txt for 12 hours! We already knew he turned the lights out at 11:00 p.m.

They tracked his phones for the rest of November and he did not call or text Dylan again after 7:19 a.m. on the 20th.

At 1:16:00

Moran-Do you remember your father saying how much he loved Dylan and he was his whole life?

Yes.

Did you see that your father got a tattoo of Dylan on his arm?

Yes

Did your father speculate that Dylan may have been hit by a car or taken by a wild animal, or tripped and fell...it was not just blunt force trauma he suggested...correcxt?

Yes

Do you remember your father saying he was worried about Dylan being in pain, lying somewhere all alone?

Yes, he did make those comments...

When you met w/your Dad at the casino, there was discussion about searching, and LE told him not to go searching, he needed to stay home in case he calls or comes home...

Yes, I remember he said that.

Your Dad said he struggled w/that but he was going to comply...and he was struggling to function..

Yes

And your Dad said he worried Dylan had been hit by a car and was lying somewhere...

Yes

And he was getting little sleep because he was wracking his brains, said he was on the verge of a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Mental Breakdown...

Yes

Moran :There was hostility towards your father, like people glaring asa him, jostling and throwing shoulders...

Yes, that's what he felt

REDIRECT: In those early days you were frustrated because he wasn't doing anything, he woulds talk a lot but didn't do any of it

B:Yes

Why did you feel like you needed to tell those things to Mark?

B:There just wasn't ever any action on his part

[objection/overruled]

Is that why you urged him to do Dr Phil show?

B:Yes, it could get millions to see Dylan...

Did you have to push him to do the show?

B:Yes, he was against it...he felt resistance to Elaine and her ideas and didn't want to work with her

Who was the person who brought up the term 'blunt force trauma' first?

B; He did.

And how many times did he say it?

B: At least four...

Surely Mark didn’t run Dylan over , just when he suggests stuff it then makes me think. But then that wouldn’t explain the blood on the couch and living room.

He also suggested that he tripped and fell and hit his head. Hmmm, maybe PUSHED and fell and hit his head…on a coffee table perhaps?

Mark definitely struck him imo

The more I hear the more I worry Mark was planning something like this.

If this was a tragic accident and he covered it up then he is a monster but if this was accident then I don’t understand why he was so indifferent to his sons death. I don’t understand why you would throw away photos of you’re son and a-whole list of other cold things he did.

Listening to MR's early KUSA interview linked above, it's like MR had convinced himself that given Dylan had consumed NY-style pizza, visited Fenway Park, and Wrigley Field -- he'd lived. End of life, end of the story, so be it.

Ice cold heart.

ETA: And Mark made all of Dylan's dreams come true.. so there's that. Never mind that he took his life!

[way too technical for me to try and transcribe so far...]

exhibits 48-51= diagrams and maps of segments of cell data info

exhibit 42==dylans Verizon data

So I had divorced parents and know how parents can play off each other and get frustrated when you do everything you can for you’re child and they then throw it in your face coz you’re a kid and moods and all that. But normal parents understand that and I’m sure get angry and frustrated BUT that’s the life of a parent. You don’t strike them in a fit of rage coz they are ungrateful. That’s just part of parcel of loving us :D MOO
