The link to The Journal article is great but I'm blocked by a paywall so I can't read it. They only allow 3 articles per 30 days.
I hate when that happens. Just had the same issue with the Durango Herald. I only use an iPad and usually if I clear my browsing history on Chrome and Safari it fixes it.
We are allowed to copy and paste only 10% of articles here due to Copyright. Here are a couple of items from the article. It summed up the testimonies of Miller and Strub and gave key points that I hope the Jury will remember.

A new software program, STRmix, was adopted by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation in 2018, and evidence in Dylan’s death was retested using the software. It was the first evidence from a criminal case in Colorado tested using STRmix, said Sarah Miller, who until recently was program manager of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation Forensic Lab.

Miller testified that DNA collected on a coffee table in Mark Redwine’s Vallecito home had overwhelming statistical probability of coming from two individuals – Dylan and Mark Redwine.

Miller told Bogan that further analysis showed 84% of the DNA sample from the coffee table came from Mark Redwine and 16% came from Dylan Redwine.

The contribution of DNA to a sample, she said, could depend on if one person was at the site of its collection more frequently than the other person.

“The more likely you sit in that chair the more likely we’ll find DNA in your chair,” Miller said in response to a question asked by a juror.
When prosecutor Michael Dougherty asked Strub if the inability to exclude Dylan’s blood from multiple positive tests in the living room meant it was likely Dylan bled in the living room in multiple places, she offered a simple answer: “That is correct.”

Didn't Mark say the morning Dylan went missing he went to his Lawyers office? Did that even happen?
Also the testimony of his demeanor and his lack of emotion i think does show he knew where Dylan was.
I mean you would think after murdering your Son and disposing his body..he would be shaken or upset or at least freaking out somewhat. He couldn't even fake sorrow. That's scary.

You can see the clear difference between Elaine and Mark and how they reacted.

Elaine is 300 miles away and it’s a 6 hour drive and she instantly jumps in the car with Cory and races to Bayfield.

Then we have Mark who can’t even muster up enough emotion to care that his son is missing on his watch.

Their reactions are night and day.

Well, your comment sent me searching. I was intrigued by Mark's lack of emotion. I fond in particular an article that defines Mark. I actually found the article upsetting.

Can Narcissists, Sociopaths, and Psychopaths Feel Empathy, Sadness, or Remorse?

…and another thing is the detachment he has continually referring to Dylan as “that boy”, where Elaine always refers to him as “my son” or calls him by his name.

Mark Redwine uninterested in search for missing son, witnesses testify in murder trial

“From my personal experience in the same situation many times with family members, the parents, they never want to leave our side,” Vreeland testified. “They can be — I don’t want to say annoying, because I respect what they are going through, but they can get in the way… They’re constantly wanting to know what we found, if we found anything, why we’re not trying hard, why we didn’t stay all night." Redwine did not behave that way, Vreeland testified. Instead, the father stayed in his home during the initial search, and turned out all the lights in his house around 11 p.m. The search crews kept working until about 1 a.m. that night."

At 11 p.m., Vreeland saw all of the lights in the Redwine house turn off. He said that struck him as “odd” behavior that he “had never seen before.”

“Most people tend to turn every light on and make their house a beacon so a missing person can find their way home,” Vreeland said.

Yes and I found it very interesting when he told the jury how dark it was everywhere and no street lights or other homes in the area.

Marks home with lights blazing could have served as a beacon to a lost child in the woods trying to get home!

We're on Day 7 of the #MarkRedwine trial. We're hearing from a former investigator at the La Plata County Sheriff's Office. He was tasked with collecting clothes Mark was last seen wearing the night #DylanRedwine disappeared. I'll have updates throughout the day. @KKTV11News

Key point. MR never asked the witness if LE had found anything from the search of lake. Implies MR knew there was nothing to find at that location.

Mark must of been frantic when they first found some of Dylan’s remains. I think he thought nature would take its course over the winter months and Dylan would not be found.

That’s the only way any of this makes sense because Mark didn’t pretend to be frantically looking tor him. By the sounds of it he didn’t give a crap and he must of believed he had covered his tracks.

We're hearing the notion, similar to what we did yesterday, that #MarkRedwine was not interested in helping in search efforts for #DylanRedwine.

The former investigator on the stand says he waited for Mark to ask for an update in the search-- he says Mark never asked.
