This man perfectly described the reason why LE follows up on psychic tips, paraphrasing: The tipster could be playing it off like they are a psychic, but might have actual legitimate information.

Witness: Dad didn't seem interested in missing son search

"Redwine’s public defenders have suggested he was asked to keep his distance to let search crews work."

Suggested he was asked? Yet Elaine, her husband and Cory were there on every search.

Is that his light was out at 11pm?!

He let himself look guiltier and guiltier...

I want to thank everyone for all the updates. Might be better (for me) to just go back to reading. I just can’t watch while they’re showing photos of Dylan’s remains, but I’m here<3

Mark Redwine trial: Father was not frantic after son went missing | 9news.com

Upper Pine River Deputy Fire Chief Roy Vreeland wasn’t on-duty the afternoon of Nov. 19, 2012. When he received a pager message about a missing child, he said he nevertheless sprang into action and grabbed his to-go bag, pausing only to check the temperature before he walked out the door.

Vreeland said it was just above 40 degrees, and although the sun was shining, it would soon get dark, making the search for 13-year-old Dylan Redwine near his father Mark’s home in Vallecito all the more urgent.

Defense really thinks they've got a leg up now since the witness could not say that he had found any of Dylan's personal belongings.

No. That just means that MR did a good job of getting rid of all of Dylan's possessions. Lack of questions coming from the jury indicates that they have already made up their minds (IMO).

MR is going away for a long, long time . . . eternity.

I was starting to worry because the jury seemed to stop asking questions after Mr. Hall was on! I’m glad you said this because it makes sense now :) Yes! I hope MR gets locked away and forgotten!

Elaine and Mike walked out when they were talking about finding the remains. Just absolutely heartbreaking for all involved.

Elaine and Mark walked out when they were talking about finding the remains. Just absolutely heartbreaking to have you’re son murdered and to have to sit though a trial.
Do you mean Mike?

Yes. Mr Hall describing how he saw MR quickly going up Middle Mountain following him as the searches were going on, then later Mr Patterson describing what they found there and saying it looked like a dump site for the body….add that to the rest.

It would be great if they also caught MR on those cameras Mr Hall put up.

Just some minor observations while watching this trial. First, this witness appears very tired and almost dis-interested. Court observers in chat have stated that he might need a red bull. Very short yes or no answers, with a slow methodical monotone voice.

Also, I am now taking a "sip" each time the defense says " safe to say..". Sigh

I find it so disrespectful when defense starts chuckling when he thinks he’s scored a big one (and hasn’t imo) while doing cross on a prosecution witness.

I bet it’s not lost on the jury either.
