Circumstances of Disappearance

Beth Miller asked her sister if she'd like to join her for a jog at about 10am on August 16, 1983, but her sister didn't go. Beth regularly jogged at a nearby park. She was training to join the Clear Creek High School basketball team in the coming school year. Friends saw Beth at about 10:30am at a former convenience store located at 23rd and Colorado Boulevard in Idaho Springs. Family members said Beth had told them she thought she was being followed at times. Police have investigated a number of tips and leads about persons believed to have approached Beth. Beth frequently babysat and left her babysitting money behind. She did not take any extra clothes with her. Despite searches, no trace of her has ever been found.
