1-year-old missing, thought to be kidnapped by mother

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Springs police need the public's help locating a 1-year-old child, who may have been taken by his mother.

Mother Dionicia Miranda, 19, does not have custody of her son, the police department said.

According to CSPD, Miranda and her son Emilio were reported missing late Tuesday afternoon. She is now facing felony charges of violating her custody order.

Miranda is described as a 5-foot-5 white female weighing 145 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Emilio Miranda is described as white, 2 feet tall and 25 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. They could be traveling in a gray Honda or Hyundai.

Colorado Springs police say a 1-year-old boy who was taken by his mother was found safe. Both were found in Arizona.
