Aurora Dumpster blood pool linked to homeless man

[A large amount of human blood found near a Dumpster in Aurora earlier this month has been matched by DNA to a man who is now reported as missing, police said.
Eric Todd Ewing, 43, is described by police as homeless.]

[He is described as a black man, 6 feet, 9 inches tall and 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.]

[Anyone who sees Ewing, or who knows his whereabouts, is asked to call 303-627-3100, or Detective Sgt. Stephen Jokerst at 303-739-6092.]

Aurora police ask for help in cold case of missing man

The police say that he used to keep in touch with family and friends up until the blood was found. He's also very tall and people were used to seeing him in the area. Despite the amount of blood, his case is not being classified as a homicide.
