“Speaking to Denver7 on Saturday, a spokesperson for the Northglenn Police Department said they received a report of child abuse on Thursday. However, once officers responded to the scene, Guerra had already left with the two girls in tow. The spokesperson said that's the reason an Amber Alert was issued for the two girls a day later.

The spokesperson said Guerra will no longer have custody of the girls.“

I was just going to tell her the same thing- to also meditate for a few minutes- take deep breaths, calm the body and mind.

Is there anyone around you, Margarita, that might be up and ready to help and search? Please keep in mind, they said this man is dangerous, so if you do go out, be very careful, ok? Your heart is wonderful and in the right place.

Could you perhaps call the police and ask which direction? Tell them you live not too far and want to keep an eye out.

Thank you so much for your concern for me last night. Yes I was very upset and the whole thing was very scary. I want you to know that I never would have engaged the suspect had I seen him, rather the goal was only to drive around and try to sight the vehicle and call it in. You guys are so sweet to be worried but in that situation you couldn’t have held me down even if you tried lol. We know the terrible stats timewise and the best way that I could have helped at that moment was to try to sight the vehicle and call it in. Unfortunately they had a two hour head start but thank goodness they were located.

Even though this turned out to be a familial abduction, we still know how dangerous these can be. At the time of the AA nothing was known except a violent older man known to possess weapons had taken two little girls.

The timing was uncanny as I was right in the middle of making a very emotional post about Jessica in Jayme’s thread.

Very grateful today that we are not here with two missing or dead little girls.

Here’s something interesting—it can be noted ftr that an AA can be issued for a custodial caregiver of abuse is suspected. I don’t think I’ve seen this before until now..anyone?
