For being a so called doctor, she is not very bright. Even the way she speaks...poor grammar. That jumped out at me at me before I really started following the case. Her line of defense is going to crumble in a New York minute.

Is there a mugshot yet?

Where is Douglas Woods in relation to the home?

She was referring to the woods in Douglas County. Douglas County is directly north of El Paso County. It's where many of the searches have taken place. There's lots of wooded areas in Douglas County so it's unclear exactly where she's referring to.

So I'm guessing the 950 miles on the rental car was T driving herself to South Carolina and turning the car in there..

Well, it's over 1700 miles, so I'm doubting that. Maybe a practice run?

No. She returned the car the next day, long before she left for SC.

Interesting how Tee used “LE” in the article (assuming either via email or phone interview). I had never used those letters short for Law Enforcement (or really even used this phrase at all for the police/FBI) until I started reading and posting here and in SM crime groups...

I guess this answers why she got the girls out of the house again at 4:30ish and what she was doing. Gave her time to finish up the not so good clean up. Moo
My heart aches for LS. I just can’t imagine what she has witnessed and what she has herself also been subject to.

Wow. So I bet the wood/socks were found that day (and that's why the other search was postponed). When she flew the coop, combined with the wood/sock evidence (and a message to AS acknowledging that those items were in the truck), LE was good to go.

I think she saw or heard something, sadly. Were we able to get the video here? The one from that night?
I think @10ofRods posted it earlier. Idk if it's allowed or not.

Well, she sure loves to talk.
LE played it right.
All of those unnecessary details !
Some won't want to hear any more details from the trial as they're too sensitive but this is a true crime and speculation forum.

There is only great sadness that I feel for his family .

Not 'glee' .
Not 'fantasy'.
My god what very sick minds come up with those terms ?

I made my husband go pick up my son instead of letting him ride the bus home while I finish my training. I am absolutely heartbroken. Gannon reminds me so much of my own son, and I need to spend some time with my own loved ones.

I'll be taking a small break. I'm happy to answer any tech questions when I come back, or you can message me if there's an urgent tech question. I've previously sent my info to Tricia for verification. Love each other. Hug someone or something. Life is so painfully short. Sending all the love to that poor family, who are all most certainly missing their heart today.

Gannon, we may never have met, but I love you. We all do! Please, be at peace.

Thank you for your post. I was trying to explain this to some posters inferring the parents should've known or recognized the abuse. Not even
You're welcome! It was frustrating me too. I know we all hope that if someone was abusing our children we would recognize it right away. But it just doesn't always work that way. This whole nightmare is just so heartbreaking.

I'm a property manager, we would not kick someone out for spilling a wax candle on the carpet. We would make them pay for the repair costs.

Exactly.

Bloody board?!? Oh no... :(:(:(

What a psychopath. Who can hit a child with a board.
For those of you questioning "why" Al and Landen did not recognize any symptoms of previous abuse. I am a nurse and have seen so many cases of child abuse that had gone unrecognized even by medical professionals. Not all abuse leaves obvious signs of trauma. Often abusers are really good at hiding their abuse. They usually use manipulation to keep the children from telling anyone. They tell the kids that if they tell something terrible will happen to their parents, their siblings, their favorite toys etc. This is why we see so many cases where the abuse went on for years before anyone knew. We are omnipotent to our children, they trust everything we say and do. Especially when a parental figure threatens to do something to punish them if they tell.

I don't believe that Al or Landen believed Tee was abusing their children. I think if they even had a single clue that the children were in harms way they would have done something to stop it. So we really shouldn't question their parenting perceptions at this time. They have a child to mourn and that is all they should be worrying about right now.

Unfortunately, psychopaths are part of our society and they are good at what they do, practiced in the art of blending in just like a chameleon.

I agree. I have read many accounts of people terribly abused by an adult but they hid it from a parent.

Stauch added that her husband told her that Gannon’s sock and a bloody 2×4 board were found in the woods near Douglas County.

Stauch explained that her family frequently loaded up boards they didn’t need from their garage into the pickup truck, leftovers from her husband’s woodworking hobby. She claimed that there had been several accidents in the garage, which could have easily accounted for a bloodied board.

When asked how the board would have ended up in the woods, Stauch said that things have flown out of the back of the truck before while she was driving. She said the same thing could have happened to the board or Gannon’s sock.

When questioned whether law enforcement specifically told her about the wood or a sock, Stauch said, “LE [law enforcement] have not said one word to me, have not called me.” Gannon Stauch: Stepmom says bloody board was not her fault. She’s now facing child abuse, murder charges [EXCLUSIVE PART 3]

Goodness knows what she did with that board. It is amazing how she just thinks someone would buy the story that Gannon goes missing and coincidentally a board with his blood AND a bloody sock bounced out of the truck and into the woods. She is unbelievable.

Stauch added that her husband told her that Gannon’s sock and a bloody 2×4 board were found in the woods near Douglas County.

Douglas County is north of Colorado Springs, and includes the search areas near Palmer Lake and Larkspur, as well as Castle Rock (where the best bike stores are). The searches found evidence.

I'm surprised that LE would share this with AS. More surprised that these items had Gannon's blood, were in the truck, and then blew out.
