I screen recorded (on my iPhone) part of the hearing. (Had to do it in 2 parts since I didn’t have my phone on Do Not Disturb the first time and kept getting notifications.) Not sure if there’s a place I can upload it to since the video files are too large to post here? My two screenshots (stills) are too large to upload here too. I’ll try posting them on one of my Google accounts (not my real name or account, just FYI ;))

Why doesn't she have an attorney? I'm confused.
What was her reasoning for not having one? The audio was cutting out on me..

Maybe because she isn’t being tried yet? They may have contacted the person she spoke about and, if the attorney is back in Colorado, they may be waiting for her when she arrives to map out her plan for the trial.

I didn't like see her. I'm going to go watch a Hallmark movie and get my mind right. Love and light to all of my Websleuth family today.

She reminds me of when Ursula turns into the “other” Ariel. Pure evil.

Thanks for the updates - can’t watch myself

In all fairness, the rumors (posted by people who were allegedly there and watched the whole thing play out, etc.) are that TS set her sights on him and went after him with a vengeance (last part is my words/interpretation). She knew what she wanted and spun her web to get it, as the master manipulator/con artist we now know her to be. There are also rumors that LH and AS’s marriage may have already been on shaky ground at that point or somewhere along the line (and other details I won’t go into here that somewhat equalize the story/may give more insight into his choices and actions), so he would have been even
more vulnerable. While I know AS is an adult and made choices, I still see him as a victim here (not just with Gannon but also in being vulnerable enough to allow himself to be suckered in by TS). The same goes for Landen, who made some (now public) choices she likely regrets now. I know some will disagree and I’m not going to argue or debate the point. We’re all human and we all make poor choices at times, especially with the limited information we sometimes have to go on; hindsight is 20/20. Proverbs 7...

Bottom line at this point is that regardless of past choices, both parents are victims and deserve our compassion. And I’m glad to see them united and presenting a united front now. One poster (not here) posted a pic of their locked hands at yesterday’s presser and said someone should show it to TS because it would surely enrage her; her demonstrated goal/desire was/is to cause further division between them (Gannon’s parents), not unity.

IMO/JMO/MOO
Excellent response and sounds like you know much more of the history than I, just taking offense at the women blaming verbiage when a man makes poor choices.
Seeing it on Lori Vallow Daybell thread as well, poor Chad my a**!
Much compassion for both parents while hatred, anger, disgust and more color my view of T but “stealing” doesn’t work for me
MOO

Her friend was supposed to get her an attorney. She dropped her friend's name, which was a bad move.

I do not believe in God. But I do appreciate how it helps people who do during times like these. Gannon's mother discussing her beliefs was beautiful to me as it showed how it gave her strength in the worse possible circumstances.

As for forgiveness, I don't know how to do it myself. I have been abused by people who deny it and will never take responsibility. I don't know how you do it when the other person will never show remorse. I look at LS and just know that she doesn't deserve it. Anyone who can try and find forgiveness in their heart for this is better than me.
You do it by Grace, and for your own heart.

In your opinion, is there even a small chance she will let anyone know where she put Gannon?
What approach would be needed for her to lead them to Gannon?
If she is smart, or an attorney convinces her, she won't. Probably even after she's convicted. I can't imagine her providing that 'closure' (I despise that word) to the family.

This here is why I think she will tell. It will be a while, but once the attention dies down a little, she’ll want to be the focus again and spill the details. She’ll want to hurt Landen and Al more- and will talk of Gannon’s last moments...
she won’t do it to give relief to the family, but to bring them more pain, and to bring attention back to herself.
moo

I have a feeling she'll never tell no matter how much they prove against her. She has no reason to tell anything. Even if they find the body she will maintain her innocence and come up with a long fabricated story about how Gannon was in the car when he came home but the camera was on the wrong side of the vehicle.

What she will do however is talk trash about how hard it was for her as a step mother because his own two parents didn't care about him. And she'll try to take credit for his gentle sweet nature saying she's the one that basically raised him.
That's how she'll get attention.

WATCH: Stepmother charged in death of missing boy set to appear in court

The body language/facial expression of LS creeps me out. LS doesn't have an attorney, yet. The judge told LS that she is a fugitive. Did I hear that correctly? The judge also warned her about talking, after she claimed the date on whatever paper he has, is wrong. Why does she assume that the dates are wrong on papers? Sign of guilt?

A theory: I think they filed for her extradition a couple days before LE found her. So it could be assumed she was in hiding or on the run.

I reckon she's going to fight these charges till the bitter end!!
I hope they find Gannon (and quickly please god) without her help so she cannot get off on anything less than first degree murder
