Found Deceased CO - Gannon Stauch, 11, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, 27 Jan 2020 #27 **ARREST**

I agree today. Something in the last thread a couple folks brought up that doesn’t sit well with me is still questioning Palmer Lake. I wanted to say why. From the springs to Denver everything in between is divided up in two parts East of I25 and West. Castle Rock is about 45 min from the springs and most of the town is built out on east side of the highway. Palmer Lake is pretty far west. I just don’t see her driving that far down 105 West (about 15 miles) to a completely frozen over pond. Trust me, it’s a pond. It’s open all the way around with houses lining the east side. Dogs are all over and even in the winter, people ice skate and Ice fish on it. There’s nowhere for her to dump a body around Palmer lake. Maybe that will help folks who are not local, understand the dynamics of the land around here. Praying today is the day the bring Gannon home.

JMO I think she is going to make this a hard case. To me it seems like she is going to plead not guilty.

I highly doubt she has many friends remaining, which is probably why she has no attorney.
Her inflated sense of self probably can't accept the fact that people don't want anything to do with her.

The body language/facial expression of LS creeps me out. LS doesn't have an attorney, yet. The judge told LS that she is a fugitive. Did I hear that correctly? The judge also warned her about talking, after she claimed the date on whatever paper he has, is wrong. Why does she assume that the dates are wrong on papers? Sign of guilt?

I suppose if she is referring to the date she moved his body or something along those lines. Good for her, she gets to be right. Right while she's painting herself into a corner.

I can't shake that thought either, and when it was mentioned she was arrested in Horry County, I was like W - T - F is in that water! These two would make perfect cellmates.

Seems to me she is still pitching her original narrative. “I’ve been cooperating. The date on your paper is wrong. I didn’t try to avoid arrest.”

Based on how illogical she is, she may have refused a public attorney’s assistance and be demanding her friend Dora’s attorney. But that doesn’t mean the attorney even wants the gig or is licensed in the right state or type of law. If she had to sell a couch to replace carpet, she isn’t ready to put down the retainer that a private lawyer would charge for this type of case which will be consuming and generate hundreds or thousands of billable hours.

TS likely became 'fugitive' status the moment she left the state of Colorado.

Hopefully extradition will be fairly quick so that the process can start in Colorado ASAP. I'm sure it will take many months, if not longer, for the case to get to trial. I do keep wondering if that Baez guy will end up representing her.

She needs money to retain a criminal attorney - my guess is she can’t come up with it and will get a court appointed one
