I think someone had tipped them off. Or she used her bank card/credit card and they were able to trace it.
Or maybe her text message/call interview to crimeonline led them to her. Moo

The hearing was just about the extradition, which was going to happen whether she fought it or not. Jmo

LS knew the feds were there since she had spoken with them yesterday. Maybe knowing the feds were there, she didn't feel like fighting it? Here is a question: Would it even make sense for her to have an attorney while in South Carolina? Usually, attorneys have to be barred ( maybe this isn't the correct term) in the state(s) they plan on working in. I doubt there is an attorney in South Carolina, who is also able to work in Colorado. It would make more sense for her to wait until Colorado to get an attorney. But, I guess, she could use a South Carolina stated attorney to explain to her, how to shut her trap. And then, she would have to get a different attorney later on in Colorado. I hope there is an inmate who is listening to LS complain/rant. Maybe the fellow inmate would be able to help law enforcement. Being in a different state and jail system might make LS comfortable enough to slip up. MOO.

My Opinion Only. Many times people will add that so as not to violate the terms of service when they speculate without evidence.

I'm actually surprised too that she didn't fight extradition just to be difficult. JMO

When the judge informed her all they need to do during an extradition hearing is prove her identity (along with noting there are felony charges filed against her in another state) I guess she quickly decided she would have nothing to gain in what she would deem as a waste-of-her-time.

Watching her shifty evil eyes, gestures, movements...she is every bit as awful to look at as I expected. Her bs about how she needed to call her friend who was a lawyer but they wouldn’t let her is a crock. This woman will try anything. For her to even hint she was thinking of fighting extradition shows me she has zero clue how the legal system works! They don’t have to prove the case! They just have to prove you are wanted for a felony.

Her idiocy keeps going when she tries to argue her actions to the judge, and even HE tells her to shut up. I cannot roll my eyes hard enough!
Moo

Can you imagine these poor kids having to live with and deal with her everyday???? She absolutely makes my blood boil. Sweet Gannon is at peace with his Heavenly Father and receiving all the love/care that she never gave him. She on the other hand will remain in this personal hell she created for a long long long time!!!

i did appreciate the judges comment on not letting her become a fugitive from two states

Come on, people. Who is the source of the info that she has been denied a lawyer? It’s LS, right? And do we believe LS accurately reports the truth at this point.

I’m the first person in line to stand up for a person’s Constitutional rights. But let’s not be manipulated in the exact way she hopes we will be.

Is anyone else concerned she was not represented by an atty?

Hoping today is the day Gannon comes home

  • #290
I really don’t think after the first 48 or so hours that they thought he was alive. Or that LS wasn’t the reason.
Apparently, their expectation didn't trump their hope.

I wonder if she will describe where Gannon is if they take the DP off the table. Her eventual attorney will likely try to make a "deal" to lesson the first degree charge provided she comes clean with everything...I would think if Gannon isn't found by LE then a lesser charge like involuntary manslaughter might be agreed to in an effort to find him
I don’t believe the state is remotely interested in deals, and I’m not a lawyer, but we don’t have a manslaughter option for her given the current charges. For her to get manslaughter in CO, she’d really only have one option - to show it was an accident. NOT gonna happen in this case. The only other manslaughter possibilities involve suicide or killing someone in an accident because she was under the influence. We have second degree crime of passion, but I don’t see Dan May going for that.

I don’t think she’ll give up where Gannon is and the best an attorney can do is spare her life. She has damaged herself with her big mouth and they have some serious evidence. JMO

She mighta been running outta money for that hotel room.

No kidding.

Didn't someone start a gofundme or something for her for the hotel costs? I thought I remembered seeing or hearing that. <I assume we can talk about that now since she's been labeled a suspect...

I'm thoroughly ashamed of myself this morning, and I regret yesterday's posts about the mugshot. I'm old enough to know better, and I stooped to a level that surprised myself.

I do think I wouldn't have gone down that path if LS weren't so obviously posing in many of her pictures, placing herself front and center, etc. I think many of us were itching to knock her down a peg or two.

Anyway, I apologize for not being more mature in those moments.

I really just want comfort for Gannon's family and I know it's not possible and the heartache leaves me feeling helpless. I think that brings out a lot of the primitive / immature feelings. It's akin to the mama bear instinct.

All my prayers for Al, Landen and sweet baby sisters. ❤

I have no clue what you are apologizing about - I missed something you may have said......
But I will always knock her down peg after peg until there are no more pegs. I don't see it as immaturity, I see it as normal human reactions to a spawn of satan. No apologies from me ;)

ETA...I think and dont say a lot of it here....not out of anything but only respect for WS and abiding by their T&C. ;) I don't want to be banned after my lengthy stay here ;)

Hey now! ;)
I live in Myrtle Beach and can promise you that it's not the water. Please don't let those two vile women affect your opinion about all of us living in Horry County.
I visit often. I have family in Carolina Forest and a best friend also in Myrtle Beach. It’s a beautiful, wonderful place. Planning to move there myself in a couple of years. There’s are evil vile women everywhere.

The Judge did a good job of making sure she understood her options.

Letecia posted that video herself as an explanation for why Gannon was upset. She claimed she 'didn't know' the phone was recording at that time. It's so disturbing because you can't even see Gannon in the video.
I couldn't listen to it after the first time, it was just too upsetting. In fact I've managed to hold it together until the PC yesterday when Landen spoke about Gannon and getting justice for him. Then Albert's statement... no parents should ever have to go through this much pain.

And to think of that vile woman's behavior and actions throughout this whole time. She is one sick individual and I hope LE can continue their work and find Gannon and that she is punished to the full extent of the law.

Imo

Yes! That was the other thing I forgot to mention in my post. The fact that you can’t see him actually makes it more obvious to me that she doesn’t want him seen on video. Ok, so she says that she accidentally recorded it. Now, this is iPhone specific since that is what I have, but if she has an iPhone, when you click on the camera the default camera setting that comes up is picture, not video. There are three other options to the right and three to the left (video, slow motion, portrait, etc). You have to swipe left once to get it to video mode. I’ll freely admit that I’ve opened my camera on accident and hit the big red button. However, anytime I’ve done that I either have 100 burst photos of the same image because it stayed on the default camera option, or it went to the end option all the way to the left or right because...well, you’re accidentally swiping and it takes longer than a millisecond to swipe just once if you have the phone in your hand. But she sure made sure to get his sister in the frame before walking into the other room. I’m not sure if it ok to mention the sister in the video (I think that’s who it is in the beginning?) but it kind of looks to me like she’s hiding from something, maybe something that made her upset like her brother getting hurt.

Also, she doesn’t sound like a mom who is actually trying to get to the bottom of something when asking if he’s sure he didn’t do it on purpose. I can’t speak for other moms, but I think most moms (especially of kids that age) have a pretty good idea of when their kids are lying to them. I have different reactions when trying to get my kids to tell me the truth about something when they’ve lied. One, I’m already angry about whatever it is they’ve done and I’m not so nice (very firm in fact) when asking if “they’re sure” they didn’t do something and somewhere in that conversation I’ll tell them to stop lying to me because I already know they did it. I’m not proud of that reaction and I know it’s not the mature thing to do, but it’s sometimes what happens when what they’ve done is so bad that the fact they’ve done it is unacceptable as to the kind of person they should be (like when my son punched his friend in the face once). That is not a “candle damage to carpet” reaction.

The most common technique I use is to try to disarm them. Talk in a calm voice, ask if they’re sure it didn’t happen, sometimes tell them they won’t get in trouble if they tell me the truth (when what they’ve done truly won’t get them in trouble because I don’t feel that every offense a kid commits is something worthy of punishment), or gently remind them they will be in more trouble if they lie to me and I find out than they would be for what they’ve done. Her response is not the response of a mother just trying to get to the bottom of something. As many of you mentioned, her response is gaslighting him. She’s trying to get him to believe she really thought he did it and was lying to her, so he would feel that whatever she did to him was justified.

Again, the above is JMO as a mother who would never murder her child.

Can you or someone explain this. I've tried looking it up to figure it out but why is she in South Carolina? When did she go there? Was it that she basically got kicked out by her husband and so she just moved back to her hometown? Or is she pretending that she had no choice. Running away serves no purpose but to make her look more guilty. Maybe she couldn't take his picture everywhere and his importance in Colorado.
I thought I read she returned to SC shortly after her interview. She must have family there and went to stay with them. She either got kicked out or did not want to be around her home.

I'm not sure what LE said to her when they questioned her, but I would think they would ask her to stick around in case they had any questions.

Imo

I think she had nowhere to stay in CO. I think LH and AS didn't want her around. Even if that the time, they didn't realize what had fully happened, their son was still lost on her (TS) watch and she was booted to the curb. She had no choice but to go to SC where she had family. MOO.
That's more than likely why she went there. But I can't help but wonder if Gannon's little sister, who went ther with her bio mom, was a possible target of TS. That little girl knew and knows a lot imo. TS probably felt she was a threat. jmo
I know I would have been frightened for her safety.
