The death penalty in Colorado was just repealed. The bill just passed thru Congress last week.

If this is the real motive, I'm trying to process this myself. If it really is the true motive, it's all about control and selfishness for this beeeatch. I still personally think he was harmed in an accident (child abuse resulting in death) and then the rest occurred. It's obvious though that no matter what, in her eyes, it's all about looking out for numero uno.

Imo--- but the admission of Gannon's blood on the tools suggests she possibly did something to purposely hurt him.
Just seemed unnecessary and 'off'. Why did she put that out there ?

Woodworking tools are kept in a case or rack fitted with special trays with plastic or leather straps to secure them ; so one doesn't get hurt by accidentally brushing their hand against them.

Those tools have to be unsnapped or removed for use , after being taken down from the wall or a cupboard in which they're kept.
If Al S. had been away for a while, he wouldn't have been using them, and they wouldn't be left all over the garage floor.

It's possible he was bleeding (not from the bloody nose LS kept claiming, either) from a foot or head wound and it dripped or splashed.
So what happened ?

I cant help but laugh when a year until trial is described as a “long, drawn out process.”

If this was Massachusetts, the wait would likely be between 3 and 4 years.

I remember somebody making the comment about the tracks but it was not I, far as I know. I knew there was no snow that night okay.

I was thinking earlier about the evidence and the quantity of evidence and I realized the only real evidence is the truck..a weapon is evidence but there is no evidence she used a firearm.
The clothes she was wearing, the instrument of death which could be a push, leaving no evidence or a plastic bag or the blooded stick... possibly a few hard drives, a few phones... not really a large quantity and nothing requiring a vehicle?
The truck is the evidence, really, is it not?
Anything else with the exception of a firearm and her own clothes could have been quickly and easily disposed of without leaving any traces at all?

What other crimes has she committed from which she's escaped justice ?

We know about the bomb threats and the theft charges.
As well as taking money from her and AS' joint bank account and moving it into her own.
The assault allegations which were found to be false that resulted in LS and AS' expulsion from the military base.
The fact that she blamed Landen for harassment that resulted in her losing her job ? Claims that were proven to be false.
Something tells me that AS had to have started having doubts even then.

Has she (in her teaching position) hurt other children ?

Normally, she would have to be booked in. That process can take hours. She would sit in a chair or a small holding tank behind the chairs until they get to her. They’d call her up and ask her a bunch of questions, like does she have any tattoos, go by any other alias’s stuff like that. She would see a nurse and go over a questionnaire and do a TB test. Then she would have her fingerprints done and picture taken, also take a shower and change into her new orange outfit. Finally after sitting there for what can be up to 10-12 hours they’ll take her to her cell. For a high profile case, I am not sure if they follow the same protocol

I think they'll try to be routine.

The fact that she has so many aliases is a MAJOR red flag and shows that if nothing else she is a major con artist. I wonder what other kinds of games she was running besides marrying multiple men and sucking them dry. And I wonder why Al decided to divorce her. Some major <modsnip> must have gone down. He must have caught her in some major “situation.”

I stop the vid and enlarge her face and posture. I can’t even imagine her mind’s inner workings. Her new sorority roommates will be expecting her. I’m sure the word is already rumbling throughout the pods. There’s a hierarchy she’ll have to maneuver through. She looks inmate ready. Child abusers and murderers are not camp favorites. She needs to prepare for a lot of sitting and waiting. Waiting and waiting. One section to another. Classification will probably take the longest. Then she’ll finally be assigned a cell. Then she carries her bunk mattress up those steep steel steps along with one towel and wash cloth. Her books won’t be open for awhile for phone calls and commissary so she’s outta luck. I don’t know who’s gonna cover any money for her in the first place. She will be so alone with a cup of water and some artificial packet to drink claiming that’s your fruit and vegetable requirement met for the day. Grits and one piece of bread for breakfast. Bologna sandwiches for lunch with a little corn on the side. Supper is meatloaf surprise. She’ll be screaming born again Christian before the week is up. Anything to Just. Get. Through. The. Day! If she does have any form of faith, I suggest ~ she hit her knees all throughout the rest of her life and seek forgiveness from her Creator.

As of 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time Tuesday, Stauch had been released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center in South Carolina. Authorities said that for security and safety reasons, they would not disclose when or how she will be taken back to Colorado.

El Paso County’s Senior Deputy District Attorney Michael Allen sat down with FOX 31 Tuesday to discuss the extradition and what’s to come after Stauch returns to Colorado.

“This will be a long drawn out process,” Allen said, adding “Typically, cases like this, we won’t see a trial scheduled for probably a year from today’s date, maybe later than that. This can get frustrating for the family.”

Allen says the next big stage will be when the District Attorney's Office formally files charges which could happen in the next five to ten days.

Stauch will be held on bond when she returns to Colorado.

After the formal charges, a date for preliminary hearing should come next.

“That [preliminary hearing date] will be a very, very big day to give people a glimpse of what the investigation uncovered,” Allen said.

It brings me some comfort knowing she’s no longer sitting around free, posting garbage all over SM, finally facing some karma.
