Oh, I sure do hope that's not the approach they take. Stroking her narcissism, making her believe she's in control, hinting that you can do something "special" for her, doing something special (but legal) for her, intermittent reinforcement, good cop mostly/bad cop stops by once or twice a day, all of that is what experts in this personality type would try first, and for quite a while.
Of course, her attorney is going to ban her from saying anything to LE, but probably hasn't shown up and she's been advised to remain silent. But there's a window in which a sympathetic questioner might be able to get a ton of information.
At any rate, she will not be undergoing "relentless" interrogation with her attorney present. That would be a very quick way to mess this case up and they're doing it very carefully.
I meant expert interrogation--not necessarily hard-core aggressive; I meant I have faith in the investigators in terms of knowing how to work her, whether it be good cop/bad cop/ego-stroking, whatever it takes.
