I will fight
I will fight for you
I always do until my heart
Is black and blue
And I will stay
I will stay with you
We'll make it to the other side
Like lovers do
I'll reach my hands out in the dark
And wait for yours to interlock
I'll wait for you
I'll wait for you
'Cause I'm not givin' up
I'm not givin' up, givin' up
No, not yet
Even when I'm down to my last breath
Even when they say there's nothin' left
So don't give up on
I'm not givin' up
I'm not givin' up, givin' up
No, not me
Even when nobody else believes
I'm not goin' down that easily
So don't give up on me
And I will hold
I'll hold onto you
No matter what this world'll throw
It won't shake me loose
I'll reach my hands out in the dark
And wait for yours to interlock
I'll wait for you
I'll wait for you
'Cause I'm…
Eta: “How old are you?” “Eleven!”

Beautiful, inspirational, bittersweet! Thank you Ima!

We will not give up! Gannon will not be forgotten! Gannon will be found!

Way behind like so many others. Just read this and was in shock. She injured the deputy to the point he/she was hospitalized? This is a desperate woman.

Me too. Bizarro land.

Surely there is someone in this world that she will share info with. Look at Chris Watts, eventually they all need someone to talk to. Prayers that LE finds this person and she finally gives it up. Shes already busted for it, there is no need to drag it out any longer. Just tell them where this poor boy is so that he may have a proper burial and his parents may begin to try to heal from this nightmare

BBM:

If you replace the words "info" and "talk" with "lie" in the bolded section of your post, then it may apply to TS; otherwise, not so much.

As we know all too well, TS will talk to anybody and everybody who will listen to her.
She thrives on "sharing."

Specifically, she loves to share lies.
Lots and lots and lots and lots of lies.
She has an inexhaustible supply of them…on account of she's a lying liar who lies.

TS is not at all interested in sharing the truth of what happened.

With anyone.

Ever.

JMO.

I apologise if this has already been discussed.

"Wow. We know why #LeteciaStauch was jailed in Kansas last night on her way back to Colorado. A source tells 11 News she slipped out of her handcuffs while in a van, then punched a deputy. It’s likely she will now face charges of assaulting and officer. #GannonStauch" - Spencer Wilson (@Spencer_WNews) | Twitter

Holy crap.

I asked, pages ago, when will she be allowed visitors? I don't know if anyone answered or not. I so wonder about her family and if they are going to be supporting her.
For every prisoner and the relative, friend or loved one of a prisoner, visiting is an issue of paramount importance. ... As a general rule prisoners have no federal constitutional right to visiting and prison officials can deny the privilege for any reason or no reason at all.Mar 15, 1994

I don't know about local jails. but I recall Sheila Frazee visited Kelsey's killer in jail IIRC

it is insidious indeed.

though i do agree with gitana that Tee is more likely Borderline personality and they eat NPD's for breakfast and don't spit out the bones.

Sadly I have too personal an experience with that. MIL and aunt by marriage. MIL is the most insane. She actually becomes somewhat psychotic in her frightening rages.

FWIW, discussed her attacking the deputy last night with LE hubby.
His 2 cents: She did it because she has nothing left to lose, so why not make a splash. She knows she's done and probably thriving on the attention every time her name is in a headline.
But he was stumped as to how she got out of the cuffs if they were put on properly.
Does he know whether the handcuffs are removed by a female officer in order to use the facilities? Just wondered if that's when it happened? Though the articles I've read indicate she slipped out of them. LE have not commented so it could be the writer's assumption.

IF a defendant confesses to their legal counsel during a trial, do they still carry on as if the person is not guilty. Do many of them going into trial know ahead of time that they are in fact guilty of the charges? Sorry to ask but I just don’t know how this works.

Well they certainly can't argue that she's nonviolent!!

Is she trying to make a case for not guilty by reason of insanity? Because attacking a deputy does not.... seem like the sanest course of action.

My heart breaks every morning as I look across the mountains towards Colorado Springs knowing sweet G is waiting for someone to find him. It’s so hard that mother, grandmother pull of protection I can’t help but feel wishing somehow I could just see him, feel him. I put a blue ribbon on our fence post. My daughter is expecting a boy and we still break down when she comes over and we talk about G. I’m just a lurker here. I don’t know if this is allowed. everyone who has loved a child feels this one and for me it’s just the next town over.

RSABBM:

Well, she ain't in Texas, so she can't get what she truly deserves.

Since we can't see true justice here, the closest we could get would be for TS to spend the rest of her miserable, ill-begotten life in solitary confinement.

She's someone who needs constant attention from others, regardless of whether it's positive or negative.
Next to the threat of annihilation, solitary confinement would be the most excruciating sentence for her type.

Making her listen to the sound of her own voice all day every day would almost be a fate worse than death.

Almost.

I'd still prefer to see her get the needle.

JMO.
MOO Texas murder laws are unexpectedly lenient even though it has the DP.
Tbe state of mind is a huge factor, and if the murderer thought they were doing the right thing is taken into account.
MOO CO will plod on to its LWP, and finish their job.

WELCOME to WS and thank you! It's wonderful to know the support that Gannon has

She attacked a deputy? This woman is a viper. What a scary, possibly psychotic woman.

If they added charges and tried them all together then maybe but as this is an unrelated incident it doesn’t really fit the parameters of when charges are tried together. So in that case it should be separate.
During the announcement of TS’s arrest an FBI agent at 7:35 mentioned the BAU was brought in.

I have been thinking to myself about the newspaper Happy Birthday, 10 year old TS. If that were blown up and posted on her cell wall, what reaction would we get from her? I think there would be some interesting things (behavior) seen. I am not posting my thoughts as to why since it would be hard for me to explain. I am more of a listener and thinker. Easier for me to talk to people rather than post on here. And these threads are going so fast but keep it up! I am learning so much related to my life experiences. If I could get my thoughts out I would post more. Thank you for loving this little boy and being there for his family. Hugs!

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

I know this was many pages ago, but it is such an insightful, honest, and spot on post regarding TS. I've read every new interview with her, and then the assault and escape attempt and have been FLABBERGASTED! But one common thing to me in all these increasingly desperate attempts is that they are all about CONTROL - her control of the narrative, at first, then increasingly control of the situation, of the perception of her, etc., and lastly I can only imagine the lack of control she felt in handcuffs being transported against her will.

I absolutely agree that I think that she felt she was losing control of her life and the carefully crafted narcissistic perfect stepmother, Ph. D. teaching wonder, wife, given all the circumstances, and that was very much so relevant to her mindset. I agree with you that I think this murder was about power and control. It's sick. And heartbreaking.

Also, prayers for you and hopes that you have healed from the incredible anguish and pain of a narcissistic parent.

I really hope and pray that they find Gannon soon. Poor little guy, thinking about the confusion and pain he may have endured breaks my heart.

Well in her mind perhaps??? She doesn't meet the legal standard. Very few do.
