It would be nice if they called it something other than a stress test. I’m not stressed per-say but I am concerned because I’ve been having chronic chest pain since October and my dad died at age 48 From an aortic aneurysm due to congestive heart failure.from an aortic aneurysm due to congestive heart failure And he was a non-smoker. I’m now almost 42, I have a connective tissue disorder and like I said I have chronic chest pain. I’m not afraid to die, I just don’t want to die in my 40s. Especially since my son is at a very delicate stage in his life. I think it would completely crush him and I don’t think he would be able to come back from it. We are very close. *crying*

This link says she was fired before GS disappeared. Lots of misinformation out there, I guess. Hard to know what's true. (And both reports are dated March 6.)

I have only listened to part of it as it’s time consuming to put all of my notes in order & explain in a way that most people would understand.

Without going into every little detail of each sound (however I can’t if anyone wants me to...as I did take copias amounts of notes) the short story is in the first 16 minutes that I listened to she showed contempt for LH, judgement towards LH’s parenting, anger towards LH for choosing her husband over her children, she sounds frustrated with the entire custody situation, she also IMHO sounded like she was angry, even resentful that LH & her parents were in the picture...which baffles me.

T also sounded like she had premeditated/calculated answers to the “threats” angle. Yeah she didn’t seem to be too calculated when answering very poignant questions. She also deflected, a lot, like when she was asked these direct questions. Minute 19:02 the caller says “ and now you hate her” referring to after Gannon has gone missing and the stuff that has come out of her very own mouth, as well as her obvious bitterness toward Landen/custody situation when she did the Cousin It interview. She respondes quietly saying “no that’s not the case” and then immediately started talking erratically,about all kinds of nonsense, not finishing her thoughts & jumping around from topic to topic. This particular statement/question seemed to through her for a loop. Which in my opinion is on because she took a call from a total stranger. How could she possibly not think that that total stranger would ask not ask her some of these type questions… like hello! That is all wayyyy beyond me. And very stupid of her quite frankly.

For someone who said that this wasn’t about her she said “I”a whole lot. Except for when it came to answering direct questions, then it was all about everyone else.
Also interestingly enough, at one point she says well she hints around that it is selfish for Landen to want the children to stay in South Carolina because she wants it her (LH’s) way. That’s just kind of humorous to me because everything seems to be all about what she (TS) has done for the children and how she feels and what she thinks, what she wants, her her her her her her... that’s not selfish at all. *eye-roll*.


Okay this ended up being a bit longer than I had originally planned and I did go into some detail but some of those things I just had to share because they were so blatantly obvious. Not just because of her tone but also in what she actually said over and over in different ways with many words.

I have to go to bed early tonight because I have a stress test in the morning… Yayyy, said by no pleasantly plump person ever.

But I hope to continue to listen from minute 28 forward sometime tomorrow afternoon and into the evening.


PS: I used mostly talk-to-text. And I’m 51 pages behind. Is there a secret to catching up that is unbeknownst to me? I could sure use some tips on how to ketchup. Also! I’m a very long-winded Aspie who loves to wear highly fashionable & eccentric sunglasses to hide from others. #itdoesnthavetomakesense @Thespyma

Imo she was extremely complimentary towards Landen's parents. About the opposite of the way you heard it.

No one is going to be shocked if she lied, but I want to point out that in the phone call she never says she ACTUALLY went to Play It Again Sports (see the strange phrasing she uses.) Just after the caller mentions that S&R has been digging out in the snow in an area so far away (Douglas Co.) & questions why would they be doing that because Gannon couldn't have gotten that far, right?

TS responds, "they're digging in the snow simply because our GPS pinged!" (What does she mean "our GPS?" She must know her watch or tracking pings from the truck gave off pings.)

"I went to the Douglas County area because we were going to buy a bike for my husband for Valentine's Day!"
*"Area" is very vague and she makes NO mention of hockey equipment for Gannon! Also notice NO mention of taking a detour to avoid a car accident (that's because there wasn't one,) yet she knows they can place her on those remote back roads with no real reason! I guess she wanted to take the scenic route

Then later when asked why she went to a Petco that was "3 Petcos from her house" instead of one closer, TS responds:
"The reason we went that way is because we were going to talk to someone about the Play It Again Sports and the bike. So if I went to that Petco, I'm sorry they're all freaked out it's the wrong Petco!"
She says they were going to talk to someone about PIAS, NOT that they really ended up going there. IMO she knew that LE was going to get tracking pings up in Douglas County so she needed to come up with a reason why she was in that area---->enter PIAS! I'm not convinced that she actually went there, maybe just somewhere close to there (if being tracked.) Also most PIAS are smaller shops and I've never noticed a camera in the ones I've been to. So, unless she bought something on a credit card, there's no way to verify if she was there or not.

I think someone spoke to this in another post. They may have decided to fire her the Friday before, but it’s possible they had to put together paperwork, etc. and maybe the OFFICIAL firing didn’t happen until the 29th.

I think, it was my impression from the things T said in the call & the say that she said them that she was angry with Landen’s parental decisions. That LH chose her criminal husband over her own children. I don’t think there was any reason for T to be jealous UNLESS she was jealous that LH had Al first. But even then, that’s quite ludicrous.
All of this is MOO. IMO. IMHO.

I think someone spoke to this in another post. They may have decided to fire her the Friday before, but it’s possible they had to put together paperwork, etc. and maybe the OFFICIAL firing didn’t happen until the 29th.

IDK if we'll ever unravel the truth on that one. She was supposedly applying for employment outside of teaching. Was that preemptive or ??? If you take it from TS she'd say it was after for the sympathy factory. JMO

Yes and I think it was much worse than even that. Look at everything she has told the public. I can only imagine what she said to Gannon. Things like “your mom didn’t want you. Your mom loves her other children more than you. Your dad is too busy for you. Your dad loves me more than you. I’m all you have. If you say anything to him he’ll believe me over you and you will have no one.” Kids are so vulnerable and really do believe and trust in their abusers. I think she’s really did make him believe he was trouble and all the abuse he received (my assumption there was lots) was his fault. Jmo

Local media file motion to unseal Letecia Stauch’s arrest affidavit

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KDVR) — FOX31 and Channel 2 joined a large group of Colorado media organizations requesting Letecia Stauch’s arrest affidavit be unsealed.

The motion was filed Monday afternoon by Denver-based attorney Steven D. Zansberg. It requests the court orders the affidavit to be unsealed.

Zansberg requested the court allow the media petitioners to be heard on the matter “at the earliest practical time.”

While I love this and truly believe it’s fine for the public to know, my first thought is Landen at the presser asking for patience to make sure justice is served. Does opening this now taint the jury pool for example? MOO

I didn't even think of that! I divorced in 2003, after almost 8 years...had I waited 6 months I would qualify a alimony....so, yeah, I'd be surprised if she was able to be considered. How long were they married? I thought two years but now I'm thinking a bit longer...

5 years. pretty sure. Jan 2015-Jan 2020 or so.

Agreed completely. A child is naturally more energetic than an adult.

Probably not, although the official letter from the district, which was sent out after her arrest, states that the offer was rescinded after LS had attended three days of orientation. Putting the notice on the 24 or 25th, I would think. Not sure about the 2nd job...if she was only subbing prior to the D20 job there probably wasn’t much money to go around. I don’t know what the national guard pays, but I imagine it’s not a whole lot if it’s anything like other enlisted positions.

That makes sense. And now that you mention it, I remember that discussion.

But the question in my mind is when was TS informed? She wasn't at work Monday but maybe she wouldn't have been if the 22-24th orientation had been days in advance of the actual start date. Or maybe she called in "sick."

But in many situations a person is told he/she is fired even if the official action hasn't happened. That seems especially likely if there are multiple layers of adminstration. For example, a particular school/business location may not technically
be able to fire someone without upper management being involved. But in many school situations a principal will deliver the news if the outcome is a foregone conclusion. Schools (and businesses) don't really want to-be-fired employees on the premises until the last minute if it can be avoided.

The headline here is that the state doesn’t object to the affidavit being unsealed. With only the defense against it, I think there’s a pretty decent chance we might see it as soon as Wednesday.

The state is not opposed to the unsealing of the affidavit. However, Stauch’s legal counsel says she is opposed to it.

Zansberg argues that while sealing the affidavit is common prior to a warrant being executed, the affidavit is typically unsealed — even in high-profile cases — once the warrant has been executed and the preliminary investigation is complete.
