I don’t believe she had the time. I don’t believe the prosecution concluded she spent time planning and premeditating this.
It appears to be abuse run amok.

I certainly think she didn’t like him, was jealous of him and didn’t want to care for him.

But she left home with him around 10, came home without him around 2 and was seen at Petco twice. No time for acid or burning.

Agree.
One way or another she allowed her view of Gannon to so lack compassion that under stress she was capable of outright killing him or neglecting him to death. The rest is just stupid cleverness.

My opinion is in this case the defense is not there to prove TS is guilty or not. Working well together as sides will help find what happened and how TS will have to serve her time for all that she has done. She will be in bad shape when it is sorted out and she gets her punishment.

You are basically making a really good argument for why the Judge should close the next proceedings. To the Court, it's a work day, and work day rules are in place. It's not a procedure intended as a public spectacle.

The behavior of the attorneys has absolutely no bearing on what evidence they have or how the case will eventually play out. I hope that we are allowed to see the April 14 hearing, and I don't think the Judge will change his mind about that one - but that may well be the last time we see anything from that courtroom.

That's because it's very different to actually be in a courtroom than to watch one on TV, and I can now see why many judges are reluctant to have cameras in the courtroom. I think it was important, this time, for TS to actually see what her situation truly is. She's not escaping and she will be on display, without makeup, without tweezing, etc. In front of AS and LH.

But really, she'll still be spending most of her time in a cell.

Yes, I could hug you for this post.

Do the prosecutors put everything through the defense or do they have meetings that would include Defense, Prosecutors, and the perp? If meetings, they could overwhelm her with the evidence and her attorneys would not be able to stop her from trying to talk her way out of the evidence. MOO

No, that doesn't usually happen. There's not going to be a situation where her attorneys let her talk to prosecution and she just opens up and talks to prosecution.

@perception≠reality Its honorable and courageous of you to call out this behavior. This site is place where crime sleuths come together and share theories, thoughts and information. I enjoy learning from the wisdom of the members of this forum.

And while I may not agree (or want to believe), until I see the evidence, I am in no position to discount anyone's theory as a possibility. And what if the evidence reveals receipts from Lowes that TS purchased acid?

Years ago, a relative in LE worked on the Pennsylvania murder case of Susan Reinhart and her two children. The children's bodies were never found. However, evidence in Jay Smith's basement included drums of HCL stored under a utility sink. It was believed that Jay Smith dissolved their bodies in acid. Further, he bragged about it while incarcerated. LE's desperation to convict resulted in misconduct which allowed Jay Smith to walk out of prison a free man, never to be tried again.

I personally agree with @GordianKnot that the problem in this case has nothing to do with Gannon being dissolved in acid (!); and that bringing it up unless, at the very least, a trip to a hardware store has been included in discovery; is borderline irresponsible because it's the sort of thing that then gets "taken as fact" and ported to other sites without WS's stringent rules on citing and sourcing. Aka the "Didn't I read that...?" effect.

Bringing it up when we have zero evidence leading to the contrary, is what folks generally are thinking of when they peg such thought processes as "coming straight from a Hollywood movie script", because doing so is literally writing a narrative in one's own head out of whole cloth, and talking about it as if it were fact. We've even seen it in the broaching of topics in the past, where whole threads were taken up and derailed with "what-if?" discussions, where it took multiple pages for someone to stop and ask "Hey guys, why are we talking about this as if it were real? Where is the evidence?"

IMO, MOO, JMO of course

I both can and have discounted the acid bath suggestion.

Completely discounted and dismissed it.

It isn't supported by any of the known facts of the case.

It's extremely far-fetched, implausible AND impractical, given what we know.

Obviously, googling "acid drum murder" will bring up past cases.

That doesn't make it a viable scenario here.

It isn't.

JMO.
She would have needed access to a .....drum.....or container, and time, and lots of acid.
Oppositely, maybe she had access to a pit and lots of lime. (Just listened to podcast "Limetown").

I personally don't think he's waivering on the DP. I think he's planting a seed that the DP is not off the table so that the seed reaches LS's ears. It doesn't necessarily mean he will pursue the DP. Just MO
GANNON is my hero!
100% agree, he could still, that is my understanding... Let her keep that one step forward...we are so beyond her! Let’s find Gannon!

For those wondering what she is thinking in this photo, I have a tattoo for my son that passed. He was not a victim of abuse but I know there’s both heartbreak and intense love with a bit of relief in her right now. Bereaved moms aren’t able to give hugs and kisses and cookies and milk or rub heads and snuggle up to keep our babies safe. We can get tattoos, build memorials, lead tributes, be grateful for what time we had, share memories, fight for change and/or justice. Wish I could hug her and add a heart for Gman to my collection.

I’m so sorry.. Sending love to you! You are right. I don’t give a D*** about what LH may or may not have done in her past, any of her shortcomings, I don’t care. Humans that have drug her through the mud are evil, EVIL! Her only Son is presumed dead, gone, never coming back. I have one Son, and he is my life. I would not want to live if I ever lost him. LH has my full love and support and I obviously don’t even know her.

Sorry, off topic maybe, but I needed to get that out!

Trying to catch up. Doubt I'll add anything groundbreaking...

Defense: I just thought the first lawyer choked on a sip of water or something. It happens to all of us. But the giggling and smiling/laughing pissed me off. Made me think they were kiss-a**es. There is NOTHING light-hearted about this. I know we need defense attorneys but I could NEVER do it. I could NOT be normal or decent around a P_O_S like LS. Nope. I know my limitations.

Leticia: I so don't care. I don't care if she is sad, mad, miserable (actually I hope she is miserable), whatever. I don't care if she is tired or lonely or hates the food...Pardon my French but **** her. I. Don't. Care. if she had anyone there to support her. I don't care if she needs meds to "deal." I care 0% about how she feels. I detest her. The only thing I care about is knowing that she suffers every single day until she dies for what she has done.

LH/AS: God bless them. Let them get tattoos, cry, tear a room apart, shoot dirty looks, whatever. They are doing way better than I would be in the circumstances. I probably would have torn LS to shreds long ago. I hope they stay strong and tough and never let LS see them stumble.

I want to clear up my earlier post, as it now seems to be causing a number of replies.

Nobody in this thread is implying acid was used. There was a post where several thoughts were proposed (acid, burning, dismemberment, etc) as ways a body could possibly be disposed of and unable to be found. Period. Nobody even said they think she did so.

I responded to the posts that followed, where others were personally criticizing and attacking the poster saying these things aren’t real and don’t happen and are “insane”.

We can all agree the time and resources don’t point to this. I posted to ask that we disagree in respectful way, (or scroll past) posts made by others, whether we believe them to be true or not.

I myself should have just followed “report, scroll and roll”.

Excellent post.

One question though, I thought the judge said the April 14 date was for a status conference that could not be televised per the rules. Did I misunderstand? (My audio was awful.)

How does the GPS (geotracking, phone, vehicle, games, watches, etc) work? I will give example of how I *think* it works and you tell me what I got wrong please.

1010 home improvement store
1130 doctors appointment
100 lunch
150 neighbors house
155 home

Do they have the times (which would mean time spent at each location) or JUST that I visited each of those places that day? If the latter, is it at least in correct order?

You're probably right. CO has its own rules, and I am no expert in CO. At any rate, I think everyone here should know that yesterday was atypical and we will in general be seeing very little of this trial (except for certain documents that may be released to the public - but even there, a judge has lots of discretion).

This case has already been tried in social media (no surprise there) but as the trial looms, no judge has to allow the public to continue to discuss the case in a manner that the judge deems inappropriate. The judge can shut it all down, as there is no CO law says anything *must* be televised, quite the opposite. This judge clearly has been wanting a certain degree of openness, but depending on what we all do outside of court, I'm sure Judge could change his mind.

I missed one point yesterday - did the Judge say that the trial judge was still unknown?

I don’t think so? They were talking about why the case moved from one district(?) to another probably as a result of the case going from missing person to murder, but I would think this judge is the one who will try the case. I don’t know much about court procedure. Would it be normal for the judge at the trial to be different than the judge presiding over the preliminary hearings?

With cell phones they should be able to, at a minimum, see a list of time-stamped GPS coordinates. So yes, they should be able to see how long the phone stayed at any particular location and it will be in sequence. I assume the data from other devices, like vehicle GPS, would be very similar. They should be able to retrace everywhere any of these devices went, and that will only be easier for them if they have data from multiple devices to work with, which seems like a decent possibility in this case.
