It’s possible she took I-25 going and 105 and 83 back.

I also noticed a gas station on Austin Bluffs listed. So she could’ve taken Powers to Barnes to Austin Bluffs to N Nevada. But then that doesn’t account for the Subway on Stetson Hills since Stetson Hills is farther north on Powers than Barnes.
I think you're onto something!
83S, Southbound on powers, Stetson Hills to Austin Bluffs? Northbound on N Nevada, back to Petco?

If there's also a point on Barnes though, try adding Oro Blanco in there to see if it minimizes backtracking.

Also, the presence of both Enterprise and Avis on the list struck me as unusual.

Unless she didn't drive her own car to SC; and it seems kind of pointless not to drive her own car there, since she certainly couldn't leave it in Lorson Ranch... I wonder how long you can leave "own vehicles" in their airport parking lot?
Quite a long time actually. Police scan airport parking lots regularly, they know what vehicles sit in those parking lots. Also, I’ve lost my vehicle at the airport-I traveled regularly (don’t ask-haha-running late) and they located it right away based on license plate. You can’t hide cars there. It’s futile.

Im sure she rented car to “flee” to S.C. Bc she didn’t want cops knowing. Remember she said “I wasn’t fleeing.” That means of course she was. I wonder if the first car rental wasn’t for that exact purpose then she got spooked by LE and changed her mind. Might explain the 960 miles, if legit. Imooc

She’d need a credit card and I believe her accounts were frozen. I’ll go back and see if rental company is S.C. called to witness.

Enterprise AND Avis. Interesting, right.

wouldn’t it be wild if the truth was that she actually was headed there to get him treated and he died. But why wait all night, unless she actually thought whatever she did wasn’t going to be lethal. You never know. Some people aren’t that smart. I could definitely see a juror buying it, unless they have some really damning evidence to prove otherwise, like she brought a gun and bullets or some other implement of murder.
Legally it doesn’t matter if she says she even made an effort to seek treatment (the facts seem to preclude that anyways).

Leaving her phone at home shows premeditation, not that it’s even required here.

Even if one juror somehow thinks she’s innocent, they’ll just do this all again. I can’t fathom anyone believing she’s innocent though.

Lump in throat, SAFE PASSAGE (last page endorsed witness list), this one hit me hard. Sad stark reality, little sister and maybe stepsister, giving “forensic interviews” of what happened. Possible witnesses. Play this video first, an innocent child telling her truth, then play ANY one of the interviews Letecia Stauch gave. There will be no hold out juror. I guarantee little sister’s truth will align with the evidence presented and LS defense won't. So many lives changed 4 ever.

Snipped from Safe Passage (Helping abused children begin to heal).....Webpage (linked at bottom)….
Our Approach
Safe Passage is at the center of an inter-agency collaborative effort that minimizes the trauma to victims of child abuse by centralizing services in one, child-friendly location. We act as team leader, coordinating the responses of our team partners in the medical, investigative, social service, legal, and mental health arenas. This holistic approach keeps investigations child-focused and ensures that children and caregivers receive the broadest range of support in the least intrusive manner possible.

Annually, Safe Passage serves more than 1000 children and non-offending caregivers in the midst of abuse investigations. Safe Passage serves El Paso and Teller Counties as well as referrals from additional counties throughout Colorado. The services outlined below are always provided free of charge.
Forensic Interviews
The “forensic interview” is a child friendly, non-leading, developmentally appropriate way to gather information from children and teenagers, in a warm and welcoming environment. The forensic interview assists the Department of Human Services and Law Enforcement agencies in their investigations, while keeping the best interest of the child at the forefront. Interviews are digitally recorded for use by involved partner agencies to minimize children’s trauma by avoiding the need for multiple interviews of victims. The forensic interviewers are highly trained professionals with advanced understanding of child development, memory, suggestibility, linguistics and trauma.

Oh thank you, I was going to get into that next. Very sad indeed. Therein lies the truth, straight out of the mouth of babes.

I can definitely see some naive person thinking that no way could she be that malicious. But it still wouldn’t be manslaughter or a lesser charge right, bc he was under 12?

And in CO do they need a unanimous verdict for M1 if they aren’t seeking the DP? I thought not.

It’s still murder 1, regardless of if she planned to kill him or not. She was in a position of trust, and took actions that resulted in his death.

Whatever the verdict, it has to be unanimous. I get the feeling that once we see in the arrest affidavit, there will be no concern whatsoever.

Where are our resident psych and medical members? Huge dilated pupils, not much blinking, staring, one facial expression, unwashed, etc. Yet she flares her nostrils when leaving and the finger salute through court *imo What am I (we) looking at?

* eta: Not a Dx- as not allowed- is it rage, possible meds, possible withdrawal, anger, an act?

MOO— From a prescription standpoint, Possible amphetamines... like Ritalin/ Adderall or other ADHD meds.
I’m a pharmacist....

If you were on a journey, to conceal a 'body', why on earth do you stop and eat?
Isn't your adrenaline high, and you're on a mission: no water or food intake wanted?
MOO.
IMHO- she stopped for a drink to stay hydrated. The adrenaline dried her mouth, and it was a bonus of building an alibi.
I can’t imagine that was able to scarf down a sub during the day she had.
Plus- didn’t she say she hadn’t eaten since 9am?

Interesting that a botanist is on the witness list. Page 21

I picked up in the document titled Register of actions on page 4
The first line with a date is for a protection order against Letecia Stauch and "victim"
Standard protections in place, but if they knew Gannon was deceased I don't see why he would need a protection order. I wonder if it's for Laina or HH
