My opinion is Gannon has many people here on earth that love him and will miss him. They would never want him to go through what he did before passing. This is not an illness or car accident but a selfish, nonloving, predator, nonreligious, beastly beast being that did who knows what to a child that is in very little control over lifes choices in which beast killed him. <modsnip: religious commentary is not allowed>

Gannon deserved to live his full life , here on earth, and hopefully the jury will understand that the harshest sentence they can mete out will still be better as TS will still have a life --albeit behind bars !!!

You misunderstood the context or I didn't explain very well.

If a child had JUST gone missing in my neighborhood and I heard that from the parents or from another neighbor, I would not say to the parent "do you want to search my video?" I would do that myself assuming I knew what the child looked like. No way in a neighborhood full of cameras do the parents or parent have time to view each neighbor's video. But it is being reported that's what RD did. He contacted TS on the 27th or 28th and asked if she wanted to review his video.

The truck video isn't in play at that point. RD has been quoted in multiple MSM outlets that he found it days later on Sat. Feb 1 and showed it to AS on Feb 2. TS was long gone by then.

If I found video that was ambiguous and might be the kid might not be, and it was right after the disappearance, yes, I likely would show it to the parent. If for some reason I feared the parent, I'd call LE. Since RD claims he asked LS if she wanted to look at his video, that suggests he wasn't afraid of her. But it still makes no sense to me he didn't just review it himself.

One of the agents out of DC appears to be with the Behavioral Analysis Unit, and has focused on crimes against children.

One of the Denver agents is a Child Forensic Interviewer.

My response: "Who does she think she is to punish"? This is typical language of a person who is punitive. They are demanding and authoritative.

I read in an earlier thread "she wouldn't do this in broad daylight unless she had to" (paraphrasing), and that got me thinking... why would she do it in broad daylight vs. at night? I think it's pretty much assumed the brunt of the abuse happened before Monday, and if she knew he was going to die, wouldn't it make more sense to do something at night?

I think she planned on keeping him home from school (IDK whether she planned to go out) and when she woke him up realized (blood? altered mental status?) this was more serious than a day or 2 off school. JMO

Loss Prevention could be involved as they can access and copy surveillance camera footage, not just for shoplifting. Especially if the archives or tapes are kept or recorded offsite. Retail chains have different methods and programs for surveillance.

On Crimeonline RD says he didn't release the tapes. The news media did, and they were told not to. There is more footage that was given to LE that the public hasn't seen.

Of course I regard RD's video as a blessing. It empowered LE to move in mighty and quickly. > 107 warrants in 5 weeks time is the work of a powerful force.

I think he was misled to give it to the news media. But I am hopeful there was more than one recording

I do not recall her ever saying the switch was "missing". I do remember her mentioning that he dropped the switch on Monday when he was getting into the truck, and she picked it up for him

I was just trying to find that very statement. I couldn't remember if she actually said his switch, or "one of his electronic devices" (which could be a number of things). Do you remember exactly when the statement was made? Was it in the secretly recorded conversation, her written statement, or a social media (unapproved source) post?

I am curious because #1) most newer vehicles have the capability to become a hotspot (especially if a subscription to Sirius/iHeart, On-Star, etc. is purchased), #2) some devices will connect to a vehicle's Bluetooth (for example; my Kindle and iPhone will). If so, this would enable LE to track exactly where the device was at any given moment. Does a switch have Bluetooth capabilities? Anyone know? TIA

Agreed. You can generate a lot of force with a board of that size. My thoughts, however, are that she used the board to finish him off when she got him to a remote location. And then, she tossed the board into a field where she didn't think it would be found -- along with the sock(s) she wore on her hands to keep her DNA off the board (or to protect her hands from a splintery board end). I think the injury on Sunday was to his stomach/bowel, hence the "pooping pants" thing. Also, it could have resulted in the saucer size blood pool on the carpet because he would not be able to keep himself from expelling blood in his intestines.

Maybe. But I think it's just who is in charge of their video. And if that's useful it doesn't have to be because of shoplifting. (Not much use for a store to only discover shoplifters after the fact anyway. LE isn't likely to jump right on that as a pressing case as a matter of course I wouldn't think.) JMO

That is 100% correct.
RD is a hero in this case.
Recall the original report that Gannon was 'accounted for' up to 3.15pm on Monday 27.
Naturally everybody just looked at footage after that time.
He was so disturbed he microanalysed all his footage including times prior to the 3.15pm time on the Saturday night after Gannon's disappearance. He informed Gannon's dad early Sunday morning, Gannon's dad contacted LE.
They arrived and checked and approved his conclusions about what they had witnessed.
The search centre was immediately re-located at 2pm on that Sunday.
Calling him abusive names is rather mean spirited as well as being inaccurate when evidence to the contrary not only exists but is printed and sourced here on Websleuths.

In hindsight, I’m sooooo glad LS did not want to see RD’s footage because that just tells me that it did not occur to her AT ALL that all her movements might be caught on his camera.
