I sure hope the Stauch's gate wasn't unlocked & left open on purpose for a cute little dog to "escape, " you know since Gannon had the only key and "was always so helpful with the dogs!" Nah, probably not since "he kept checking the gate." o_Oo_O:mad::mad:
OMG, Sadie is a puppy. Do you think that she let her out then blamed it on Gannon?

Thank you, @kittythehare . It is my choice to believe RD is a decent man who had the courage and conviction to come forward with very pertinent video. It is not his fault that events beyond his control occurred.
To those who are being less than kind and charitable, I ask you, do you want to be “those people” who would discourage someone in another future case from coming forward?
Exactly, especially when there is evidence to the contrary from verified and approved media sources.

I have a question about the dog that AS says is his and wants it returned immediately.

I’m sure it was purchased for Laina and Gannon. Did LS give this dog to a relative or friend or did she kill the dog?

I am wondering if she made some excuse to AS that she was keeping the dog but that she really killed it. Out of spite.
It crossed my mind that she possibly abused animal(s) in order to maintain CONTROL over the children. MOO, she doesn't strike me as an animal lover or one that would tolerate a puppy mess. :-(

Co

correct , to look for him leaving after 3pm to go play at a friends ... Roderick said SM said wasn’t interested in looking at video

Of course she wasn't.

IMO, because at minimum, she wasn't interested in "ruling things in".

We can tell that from her language and mindset about going out to search.

She was only interested in "ruling things out", like checking off checkboxes on a list. ("Clear[ed]!")

IMO, she was so obsessed, frantic, and speedy that she made the mental decision that she knew what RD's cameras would have hit upon, based upon where they were.

Also, if "she" looks at RD's footage, you can bet your bottom dollar that RD would have been standing right beside her helpfully looking with her; and if it indeed did capture anything, she of course couldn't have that either.

I was just trying to find that very statement. I couldn't remember if she actually said his switch, or "one of his electronic devices" (which could be a number of things). Do you remember exactly when the statement was made? Was it in the secretly recorded conversation, her written statement, or a social media (unapproved source) post?

I am curious because #1) most newer vehicles have the capability to become a hotspot (especially if a subscription to Sirius/iHeart, On-Star, etc. is purchased), #2) some devices will connect to a vehicle's Bluetooth (for example; my Kindle and iPhone will). If so, this would enable LE to track exactly where the device was at any given moment. Does a switch have Bluetooth capabilities? Anyone know? TIA :)

Oh, she just says "electronics" or "technology", IIRC.

I thought maybe ("electronics and/or technology") is some sort of embedded, drilled teacher-speak, along the lines of "I need you to do such-and-such for me" (courtesy elementary education major I went to HS with).

I’ve not seen any data on “dog discussion”, so please provide MSM about “keeping the dog”. And, do we know who has what dogs and why? Thanks

Let's keep in mind that this investigation did not just involve looking at LS, but at every person in that household, as is standard in any missing person or homicide investigation.

Also, as to substance abuse, since LS goes to such lengths to accuse LH of drug use, I am certainly not going to be surprised to learn that she too has had a problem. If in fact she was using stimulants regularly, then her behavior on the trip from SC to CO may be better explained. People coming off stimulants are super irritable. And paranoid.

However, if LS was in fact a drug user/abuser, I find it hard to believe that she kept that a complete secret from AS. If she did manage to hide it completely, I really feel for him - finding out all this stuff about LS, after the fact of Gannon's disappearance, has to be so corrosive to one's own since of reality and one's sense of judgment.

I cannot emphasize enough just how easily certain personalities are able to be this manipulative and fly under almost anyone's radar.

Say as part of her 'alibi' (or scouting for info/video) she went to the neighbor on each side and maybe across the street on Monday right before (or after) calling police. He says yeah, I have video, want to see it? She says no, he went the other way. That's the end of it until he (or someone else) thinks differently on the matter. moo

Anything could have happened. But RD lives two houses down not next door and even with TS, I find it hard to believe she would have gone to a house and said "have you seen Gannon?" And if offered the chance to look at video right then said, "he didn't come this way."

And in PEOPLE
Neighbor of Missing Boy, 11, Claims to Have Footage Showing Him with Stepmother Before He Vanished

RD said he reviewed footage Saturday and found the truck portion then. (I'm assuming he'd already reviewed 3-4 pm Monday 27 as LE asked all neighbors to do that earlier.)

From PEOPLE
"Drayton says he initially decided to comb through the video footage because he wondered if the boy had been abducted by a stranger."

“I have kids and if someone is in the neighborhood picking up kids, I want to know,” he says."

I think his truck video is important. I'm glad he found it and gave it to LE. But various press reports quoting him haven't made much sense to me. For example, in another account, he said he couldn't sleep Sat and was bored and that's why he ended up reviewing footage. No mention of the abduction possibility. Could be different reporters using different quotes. But it ends up looking like inconsistency. JMO

Forgive me, I’m struggling with the comment above (main post). No mention of lost dogs, so dogs not lost, just Gannon.

I think that was referring to Sadie. The puppy that is apparently missing. Al, in the divorce papers, wants LS to return Sadie immediately.

I don't think we have to provide data regarding our hypotheses about the dog. LNF is just wondering what LS did with the dog. We know there's a dog because it's in the (public) divorce papers (AS asks for the dog, a French Bulldog to be returned immediately).

Exactly!! And if she gave it any thought at all, she assumed it was a doorbell camera and her driveway would be out of view. The news of that video gobsmacked her right between the eyes and left her unhinged.
I guess I never thought of it. In my minds eye - it would be like looking through a peephole, rather than standing on your porch. (I have dogs, don't need that) MOO

Got it. I’m trying to keep up, thank you.

I noticed LP on the list of witnesses. So wondering if she stole something/s. Sure could not put that past her.
MOO

I wondered that too.

Some companies have plain clothes LP people on the floor watching for theft. Not sure PetCo is large enough for such an expense, but just a thought.

She was acting suspiciously per petco cashier during her first visit, nervously checking outside several times. That would be enough reason to have security watch her more closely, if they were there and alerted.

IMHO- she stopped for a drink to stay hydrated. The adrenaline dried her mouth, and it was a bonus of building an alibi.
I can’t imagine that was able to scarf down a sub during the day she had.
Plus- didn’t she say she hadn’t eaten since 9am?

Well, she also said that she didn't hurt or kill Gannon, and that he was alive and he went to a friends house so......

I think you're right though, subway witnesses are most likely for cctv of outside:)

Please, can someone point me to the pages, links, etc. where it is reported that RD offered his video footage to LS? Thank you so much, as I am perpetually behind. JMO

Thank you, I missed that...geez, so very sad.

Oh my that didn’t occur to me yet. That would be awful. I’m sure that has now occurred to AS though. So sad!

Yes AS requested she return the dog immediately, when he filed for divorce. it was discussed here at length.

I think what RD released and his comments were designed by LE. I don’t believe he leaked or media leaked anything that wasn’t LE approved. They wanted LS to react. She certainly spiraled after that....
