When will we find out if the affidavit will be made public?

I just want that sweet boy brought home to his parents, as we all do. I hope they’re getting nearer and nearer to finding him. God bless Gannon’s parents. I don’t know how they remained composed in court last week. My heart hurts thinking about them being in the same room as that monster. I remember seeing a family member of one of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims completely lose it in court. That’s how I imagine LH and AS must feel inside.

Maybe she was driving all around to deter LE on the 28th in that rental car. This is why they said they are narrowing down the search areas (not exact words but something to this effect). Sargent Mynatt said:
"We absolutely have to only go to the area where intelligence from this investigation has led us to search those efforts," said Sgt. Deborah Mynatt, public information officer with the Sheriff's Office.

Investigators were searching the area near Bradley Road and Marsheffel, east of Colorado Springs for a majority of Thursday.

"It's very vast in a lot of these areas, a lot of rough terrain, a lot of dangerous conditions in these areas," said Mynatt.

I wonder what evidence they found that led them there. Maybe it's a combination of GPS data and physical evidence.

Even if TS washed the truck there still may have been dirt, mud, or sand in several places underneath where it's hard to wash.

Maybe LE has her shoes and they found a certain type of dirt or small stones lodged in the tread on the bottom.

Maybe cadaver dogs picked up a scent in that area. There are so many possibilities.

If there are dangerous conditions and rugged terrain, it sounds like it's a good place to hide a body. There may be deep ravines and other good spots that are secluded. Do we know if there are any creeks or bodies of water there?

I hope they find Gannon soon.

I appreciate the OP sharing a hypothetical; I understand that family members may have strong opinions on the importance of remains for burial. However, Landen's needs seemed all too clear at the PC following T's arrest. She stated that she intends T to pay 100% for her heinous crime, and added: "I know where my son's at without a shadow of a doubt." My heart breaks for them each and every day Gannon is still out there. I doubt, though, that either the parents or LE will allow that to deter them from #JusticeforGannon.

It shouldn’t be long. The media will respond to the defense’s latest motion, and the judge should make a decision.

I’m optimistic that it will be released (following past Colorado cases), and will be released soon.

It continues to bother me no end that this little angel's earthly remains are out there somewhere in the world alone and abandoned. How badly I wish they'd be able to find him, lay him to rest in a peaceful place for his loved ones to go visit. It's beyond sad that's all they can have now, but right now without knowing where he even is....I just can't imagine the depths of their pain. It truly aches my heart.

I wish they'd put her with another (informant) fake inmate and get her to blab.

If LS didn't use a carwash that does an under carriage wash, it would be amazing what could be found underneath. Dust, pollen, sap, gravel, dirt, plants and weeds. You name it. They have expert teams working this case and they know exactly what they're looking for. We're going to be so amazed when we finally see all the evidence. I really believe this and I'm expecting more documents unsealed anytime. Maybe tomorrow? We have to be patient. Some we won't know until the preliminary and some not until trial. I can wait however long it takes.

I don't think there is any way she can bargain down to a lesser charge. Even if she acted in a fit of rage and had no intention of killing him, it would still be Murder in the 1st degree because Gannon was under the age of 12. Imo

I'm 9 hours ahead so the timing is never great anyway. But I can't get to sleep thinking about this beautiful boy. I know when he's home we'll all have more peace.

And if WE feel this way, I keep reminding myself, how devastated G-man's Mom, Dad and lil sis must be. So many prayers up for them xx

Gannon is my hero! I finally watched the video yesterday.. One thing struck me, was the bond that Gannon and Laina had. They seemed like best friends, just totally happy together... MOO this is so very sad, Justice for Gannon!
