I can't even imagine driving cross country with a deceased person in the car!
Especially one that needs to be hidden!

Me neither. Did presser convey one way or the other that this is what LE believes? That she drove with dead body down to Florida and was hanging out down there early February before heading back to SC?

If she put him in a suitcase that can be traced back to her home, that’s really stupid.
She seems pretty stupid.

so many panhandlers! ;) I guess since this is a CO. thread we just had no reason to know. I'm somewhere near Tally, but visit P'cola and around there often, as I have family there. Cousin in Pace...Wed night he posted he was off fb for a bit due to a horrible couple days...yeah I'm texting him. He works construction...
Oh goodness, I hope all is well.

I haven't seen a case with Day May because I just recently found this site but I will say that I really like Michael Allen. He seems to be a scary guy to the offenders (IMO)and I like that. He had all of his ducks in a row at the first court appearance (lets not discuss her lawyers pfft) and today he was straight to the facts. I approve if it matters LOL
I am sure TS's attorneys were knocked to six with this news.

Nobody looks at tourists in Florida, unless they're in the way. She wouldn't have even 'stood out' since she's not pasty white or lobster red (Remember, it was early Feb) MOO
Even Colorado plates are not noticed, we have snowbirds in winter, tourists in summer.

Ugh.

Would a gunshot 20 plus miles outside the borders of Colorado spring be something unusual to hear? I have a vacation home in north central PA and it is not unusual at all to hear shots at anytime of the day at anytime of the year.

I don’t think so. We live close to Ft Carson, and we regularly have our house shaken by exercises on post. A frequent statement in our house is “Ft Carson is blowing stuff up again.” I’m so used to it, I probably wouldn’t even think twice about a gunshot, and I live in town.

Pace, FL is roughly 1,200 miles from CO Springs. This would have had to been another time - likely on a drive back to SC? But if she rented a car to do this they could track where she went even if they did not follow her so I am confused.

Law Enforcement seems to think she arrived in Pace/ Pensacola, FL between 2/3 and 2/5.

After reading the written charges I realized I was absolutely wrong. She is being charged with all 3 weapons. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I am hoping charges will be adjusted before trial. Only because I hope that poor boy didn't endure the extreme torture the charges imply. It is my belief that she will spend the rest of her life in prison, as she should. But I am holding out hope that he didn't suffer beyond what any of us could even imagine, my mind just won't go there.
bbm
I'll hope with you. ^^^
Please let that be the case.

If not-- I wish there could be 'an eye for an eye' -type of punishment.
In some ways there could be -- as she'll be incarcerated with some as evil as she is or even more so.
Karma is coming, TS !

At the same time I want to see her pay for everything she did and not escape justice for any acts of cruelty this monster inflicted !
Hoping there'll be enough evidence to nail her hide to the wall, figuratively speaking.
The world believes her evil but even we don't know everything.
Glad he is found even though it's awful.

The prosecutor will show at the trial just how despicable she is-- and I'm thinking this may not be her first crime.
Not necessarily murder but what else has she done ?

There had to be evidence of something in the house and garage. Something occurred in these two places. I shudder to think how that poor baby suffered. Saucer size of blood? I just can't once you start putting together what is known and what has transpired today. May God have Mercy!

I've seen a lot of posts relating to the mileage between where Gannon was found and Myrtle Beach being 666 miles. Anyone notice that the last four digits of the tip line are also 6666?
:eek::eek:

If each count is conditional on a specific weapon, then yes.

I think that is the case, and Gannon’s body showed injuries consistent with those weapons.

I did think the truth was worse than we could imagine, and today’s developments appear to have made that a reality.

Now we await the arrest affidavit.
Blood evidence must have been sufficient to indicate bleeding from a significant cut to warrant sharp objects.

I don't know if this has already been discussed- I'm still catching up. It looks like she brought Gannon's body to Pace, FL between 2/3 and 2/5, Impossible to imagine how she did this. Gannon died on 1/27.

"The EPCSO is asking anyone for information if they have seen Letecia Stauch in Pace or Pensacola, Florida, between Feb. 3 through Feb. 5 to call the tip line...

In a criminal complaint listing the charges against Letecia Stauch, there is also a redacted list containing witnesses from multiple locations ranging from Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Washington, Washington D.C. and Florida.

It also details witnesses from various businesses, such as gas stations, car rental businesses and banks."

She left quite a trail.

This is a trail that supposedly had LE all over her from the beginning in late January.
I'm a bit pissed at LE. You all knew who you were dealing with.

I'm still in shock & processing all of this, not to mention I have about 25 pages to catch up on! Anyway I want to say how grateful I am for all the work that has been put into this case....the investigators, LE, S&R, the community, and more!

LS can wipe that S-eating smirk off her ugly face! She was so confident that sweet Gannon wouldn't be found, that she'd lead everyone off the track, that her T-splaining would work. Check yourself LS, you're going down & you're going to live out each miserable day of the rest of your pathetic life knowing that you didn't get away with this! Gannon & the good that he brings out in people worldwide, will always triumph over evil!

This was just uploaded and I haven't listened yet, but Scott is a criminal defense atty in CO, so maybe he will explain the charges

Do you think a family member or friend potentially lived in an area about the 400-450 mile area?
Well, I think a family member or friend lived in the area Gannon was found, JMO

Would make sense with the way he was walking the last time he was seen on video Monday. She may have hit him in the head with something blunt causing a concussion with bleeding on Sunday night, told him he was going to "the doctors appointment" Monday morning, then ultimately decided not to bring him to receive medical attention (where she would be questioned and have to face the consequences) and instead she brought him somewhere nobody would hear a gunshot (also, where did she get a gun if she had a violent record?) and left him there where she thought she could run with the "he ran away/left with someone" story.
After Al was home and the neighbor came forward, she knew the "he ran away" story wouldn't hold so she went back, and using a sharp instrument, she "did inhumane stuff" to make him easier to dispose of later when she drove down to Alligator/Crocodile territory(Fl. has both). She likely stopped half/way, knowing the mileage was being counted on the rental car, and rented another car to "secretly" take on the rest of the miles. I think she may have been so sure of herself because she really thought he would be gone within days. She may have allegedly listened to too many southern Louisiana/Florida rap songs about gator's hiding evidence.

MOO MOO MOO

I agree with you, plates from everywhere. Well, I notice Colorado plates, for a stupid reason. I rented a car with CO plates and got pulled over in GA (my home ) for no good reason. Curious officer, drug check. No reason but the plate. Sorry CO, GA police very suspicious :rolleyes:

Everything she has said and posted will be used against her. :)
