I would like to mail you blue morning glory seeds, if you're able to find the location and are willing to plant them. It's no more than scratching the dirt, covering it a bit, but they love this area and come back...and they're blue. I'll be over this summer but if you or any locals can do this, please msg me.
Love this idea.

Does anyone have a link for this? Sorry if I missed it.

I apologize if this is incorrect. I have not been able to follow this case on a daily basis. I was reading older posts, and it was discussed so I thought it was a known fact that he was in a suitcase.

@10ofRods After reading that, I feel the need for a shower

I am on the fence about that. Adapting requires acceptance, and TS is convinced that she is a victim.

Before TS puts on her crown, two major hurdles need to be overcome; she brutally murdered a child, and assaulted a guard. The face page of her jacket file lists that information, and there are no secrets in jail. Surprisingly, correction staff don't carry weapons, and act according to an inmate's threat level. I am not sure how things will pan out for her. And tattling could make things worse.

You are so sweet. You can't help but think like a good person. Plenty of people go down fighting, without any acceptance of anything, but they are chameleons whose entire lives are built around reinventing themselves. Quickly. Like in a SciFi film where something keeps morphing shape and being deadly. When these people get caught it's a huge narcissistic blow (as it would be for anyone, of course - but remember, she likes people to think she's really cool). She's so filled with rage she attacked an officer. But she didn't attack anyone else yet (she will probably, but little by little, she's learning the ways that prisoners have of coping with rage in prison).

Her problem will be, as you properly point out, that she will need access to the general population to work her evil. She will have very little to tattle about if she's all by herself. Of course, that's considered cruel and unusual (except on death rows, I think). I have no idea how Colorado prisons work. If they deny her the opportunity to hang with other prisoners, she won't be able to crown herself. I am sure the guards have got her number at this point (although obviously, someone let their guard down on the trip - which is interesting).

Yes, and an unconfirmed video of Sunday night that supposedly shows a lot of activity and her leaving and returning allegedly after midnight.

Does anyone know whether carpet people were listed as potential witnesses for the state. I don't know if it's ever been substantiated that the carpet people "fixed" the carpet Monday morning, before he even went missing. Didn't she even at one time point the finger at the carpet people?

I looked over the witness list on a Facebook group for Gannon that I am in, and the only business listed that I think is closest to a carpeting place COULD be someone from Tile Inc.
I googled that business name in Colorado, and a lot of results came up, but they also consisted of other words along with the “Tile Inc.”
There were plenty of names listed with redacted addresses though, so it could be that a carpeting company is on that list but it was redacted.

IMO, and correct me if I'm wrong, the feds would only charge her if the Colorado trial fell apart (think Casey Anthony). Or would that not fly since she had already been found innocent of murder charges?
IMO and please, please correct me if I am wrong. State and Federal laws and penalties may also differ. And I am sure the Feds won't mind the state of CO picking up the tab.

Can we at least regard any federal crimes as a safety net, in the event of an acquittal or hung jury?

Well Im not sure, but seems like they knew/suspected she went to FL. If you google map CS to Pace, look at the route, compare it to the FBI's that are on the witness list, the cities match up pretty well. And the even have them in order by travel. Then on up to SC. Not sure if all that is correct but sure looks that way. So they have had to have some good stuff before the arrest. MOO
I agree I keep thinking about what LE stated when they arrested TS in SC. I’m thinking Florida came into focus shortly before her arrest.

"We will not stop, and this investigation has only just begun."

...

Mihalko said investigators were continuing to make progress in locating Gannon.

"Information has developed that is helping us narrow our search," he told reporters.

Search continued for 11-year-old Colorado boy Gannon Stauch on Thursday

Reporter's reply to question about LS 1/31/20 live interview and whether or not the van seen in footage belonged to news crew. Also, describes the convoy LS was believed traveling with:

Sure, the van in the back of the video was a part of the caravan she was riding with, I believe that it was her moving truck. My news car was parked in front of her two cars, so it was out of frame. Parking went

I’m just now getting questions about this, totally fine to ask. She was traveling with 5 people total, (including herself) I believe she referenced two of them as her aunts. Clearly one was her daughter. The other was a young man driving the truck, assumed he was family. (Cont)

She was riding in a small 4 door style car parked just ahead of that white truck. The white truck is what I believe to be her moving truck, but the all drove together as a pack of 2.

Sure, to the best of my memory. Yes she was in the passenger seat of the little car. Her aunt was driving, daughter in the back seat. Young guy was driving the moving truck, potential “other aunt” was riding with him. I say “other aunt” because I’m less clear on who she was

I couldn’t give you enough for a “real description” as we call it in the news room. Just darker hair, younger dude, that’s all I can say responsibility.

We just drove to the bridge and unfortunately, there were no markers, stuffed animals, balloons, flowers, or anything else :( We were hoping to pay respects, but we weren’t sure of the exact location. I’m going to have to go through the videos again and see.

I'm not sure of the exact spot either. It's hard to tell from the photos I've seen.

A maternal aunt posted this information on social media, so I don’t think we can “confirm”. But...let’s say you wanted to just see for yourself, so you went to FB to an open group for Gannon and searched the photo section for a screenshot with a person (I’m 80% confident on name) who goes by “Victoria” I’m posted in the last two days. Hopefully that sends you in the right direction

Crime of transporting a body across state lines - dead or alive (kidnapping) is still there. And that’s federal.
It’s not kidnapping if he was deceased. There may be federal crimes, but kidnapping applies to live victims.

Tile Inc is the company that makes the Tile tracking devices. You stick them to your car keys, luggage, suitcase, etc. I have them in all of our protective cases for our kits that get deployed to locations all over the world. They link to your phone's Bluetooth so you can locate them or alert them. Other users are part of the hive that helps to keep track of them since the range of Bluetooth is limited. I have actually traveled with my cases and watched them move around in airports nowhere near where I was due to other people with the app. If you try to locate one of the tiles and you are not nearby, it will utilize all the users around the world to look for it. When it shows up somewhere, you get a notification that another user on the app located it for you.

Exactly. If you asked me early on if she moved the body, I would have said “no way.”

After she was arrested for murder, I figured she must have done that, as that’s the only way I could see there being enough evidence to prove that he was in fact dead, and she “tampered” with the body (forensic proof).

After her arrest, I would have told you that Gannon would definitely be found in the state of Colorado, and it would likely take until Spring before someone found him.

To take his body with her, and drive all the way to Florida, is absolutely unfathomable. It’s unprecedented, atleast under these specific circumstances (the heat was cranking up, and the country was looking at her).

What she did breaks just about every rule (in regards to a crime like this).

In some cases there is a question as to if someone could potentially get away with it. There are absolutely no such concerns here.

There’s going to be enough evidence to convict her a dozen times.
I think all her lawyers can do for her is ensure her rights, which the state is not interested in violating, try to get things suppressed here and there, and try to keep her from unloading in open court.

That was a unique case, and there were likely political motives involved (intense international media coverage). The FBI was heavily involved, and the indictment was handed down by a federal grand jury.

No one is going to be taking this case from Dan May’s office. They built this case, and the process is well underway in state court.

This sort of thing comes up in every case, because people want the hope of the death penalty. It didn’t happen in Watts, it didn’t happen in Berreth, and it won’t happen here.

May has the ball, and he’ll keep it.

That's true. I know her case was unique, but I think anytime you kidnap and cross state lines the federal govt CAN prosecute, but of course they don't always. I was also considering what you said about it staying with Dan May's office and I was hoping it wouldn't move hands because it seems like they have been very thorough and I don't want any chance for a mess up. Not saying feds would, but I think you guys understand what I mean. If it ain't broke, don't fix it basically. Now knowing what we do, it did make me wonder though if they didn't have a good idea she had left the state with him based upon the DA suddenly saying at that presser after her hearing that the death penalty wasn't off the table. Things that make you go hmmmm...

I just got back from driving over the hwy 90 in both directions. The little side roads that are showing up on the maps are gated for maintenance entry only. I don't think she went below the bridge via one of those roads; hard to see the roads and the gates would prevent entry. If she was out there on the westbound bridge at 2am or so on a Monday, Tues. ,Wed. she could have easily pulled to the side on the left lane and thrown him over the guardrail and no one would see her do it. Very light traffic in the early morning hours of weekdays. (My son used to leave for work at 3am on hwy 90 and he loved how empty it was at that hour. ) After seeing the area again I am feeling that this is what happened. It may be possible also that he was thrown into the water of the river and changing water levels left him where he was found. That could have happened at other locations along the river, but it seems like her intention was to throw him into the river and he didn't land where she thought; hitting the rocks instead. If it was at night, it would have been difficult to see exactly where the water's edge is from the vantage point of looking down from the bridge. If she had moved further up west on the bridge, she would have been more exposed to cars coming from the intersection just ahead. Stopping where it seems she did, the curve allowed her to remain hidden and all she had to do was wait for a lack of headlights signifying that a car was coming. I took some video, I'll try to upload later. JMO,moo

I have driven along that road late at night and early in the morning and it is very lightly traveled at those times. Almost deserted. I agree.....it would not be difficult to park there and remain unseen long enough to toss something heavy over the rail.
I also wonder if she thought there was water underneath instead of rocks? It's very dark, and as I said in another post, fog was a real possibility.

Just makes me sick thinking about it.

Here is a map I made. I have to see things sometimes to properly visualize actions taken. The two small red arrows show the direction you would travel on the bridge... the big red arrow shows where an object could be dropped off the bridge. The left hand, eastbound lane of the bridge is higher up than the right hand, westbound lane.
ETA: Red line on right hand, westbound lane where LE was pulled over in news stories.
Nice work, thank you.

The majority of women in prison are there for domestic violence. It's not Orange is the New Black (federal prison). And most states have little desire to put anyone in prison for victimless crimes.

When women get violent, it's not usually with strangers.
