Oh now that's interesting......
IIRC....
Enterprise is on witness list.....UHaul isn't (not visibly anyway).

MOO

Budget does rent trucks though. Perhaps she visited them more than once? I think it was the revolving door of rentals that week for her and whoever she had there supporting her.

God Bless Him!
My heart breaks for him. I just can’t imagine. And i’m Sure it will be a long time if ever that he can ever trust again.
I agree! So many here have lived with abusers and I don’t think you ever recover your full ability to trust yourself or your judgement. In AS case, he was married to the woman who killed his child. How do you reconcile that in your mind? My heart goes out to him and the family.

Hard to imagine Baez. Casey sold some photos to pay some of his bills, and I guess paid the rest with a other types of favors. I hope the media isn't open to funding her at this point.., and I hope he knows better than to go down that other road again.

Baez made his name with that case, does he really need another sensationalist case?
This case is an absolute loser, and it won’t have the benefit of the tv coverage.

The gag order will limit the ability to generate publicity, and there won’t be any cameras in the courtroom.

They arrested her for murder without a body, which requires a tremendous amount of evidence.

Now they have a body.

This doesn’t have the elements that any high profile attorney would want. I think she stays with the public defender.

I'm not as well versed as some on the timelines, but am I correct that they didn't know of RD's video surveillance until 2/1?

  • #226
Yeah, I'm suspicious.

Because if it wasn't a play on the Hardy Boys and (Nancy) Drew, then it was someone who doesn't know that people are hardy, stews and soups are hearty; which sounds like a Leticia-[mis]stake if ever there was one.
That person was too well spoken, and several of us have strong suspicions as to their identity (a YouTube and Facebook moron with a small following).

This person echoed the exact same talking points, and used similar phrases. It wasn’t TS, I can say that with near certainty.

Thank you so much for your insight @riolove77 .
What so you feel the chances are for a change of venue?

This has had a ton of publicity. But so did JA's case and CA's. Lots of cases do. It really depends on the judge and the defense's case for it. SP's case was moved, and I don't think it was any more publicized than JA or CA. Really is on a case by case basis.

We first heard about its existence on the evening of the third. My belief is that it was shown to AL and given to law enforcement earlier that morning.

No I didn't say Jose Baez. Just a Jose Baez TYPE. An unknown who wants to make his/her name on a case like this, just like he did.

And she's also believed to have been in FL somewhere between the 2nd and 5th...so at what point is it that people think the police had enough PC to have gotten a warrant to track her vehicle?!

And I think she left even earlier than that. That’s partially why I don’t think the tracking thing holds any water.

This all came together in the days after she left the state.

And she loses either way. Thank goodness!

It doesn't. We need warrants for those, and even more PC than normal (even though there's not actually levels of PC). I'm trying to really underline HOW intrusive the Supreme Court has held tracking of vehicles to be, so there is no way on earth they had anywhere near enough to track her car before that video surfaced. End of story, period.

Fact. I’m still trying to recover from saying “would of,” instead of “would have.” It was three weeks ago, and I’m still in a state of shock.
I hope you recover soon. If it helps, I can tell you I knew not one, but two teachers who continously said things like "It don't matter," and "Well, anyways..."

Tee takes the cake, though.

So I have found one connection LS may have to Florida and it's a long stretch, but on a public record search of her that led to her ex husband prior to his death one of his locations was Orlando Florida.

DBM.... because Massy cleared things up!
