She should have sprung for full service. From memory I recall many full service ones on that major street.

She was caught on camera and left traces of blood. No time to be cheap LS. I guess that just comes naturally.

She picks the sketchy self service one that I would personally pass by but exactly why it was picked.

No worries about personal safety? Galavanting around alone. I guess what are the odds of being raped 3x in one week.

I would like to hear her answer regarding crime that was cut from Spencer's cousin IT interview. It was not relevant at the time but now knowing false rape claims, I would like to hear her response.

Hey Laurie! That part is still very much in the interview, any edited portions of this were simply to get rid of me adjusting the camera or portions of the interview that didn't involve the case. For example, she talked about general crime when she misunderstood a question.

Edited to add Spencer part...

I read the reviews about this car wash. Reviewers commented about the shampoo machines not working :p what a fool this woman is.

You are so on the right path. I can't truly see it as a psychotherapists sees it, either. I totally get not feeling charitable at all. I guess I'm trying to think vaguely about prevention - but as you and I both end up saying - it's too late. If children are not loved and nurtured, there's no prevention.

My friend/colleague actually quit that job, and then, quit any sort of professional job at all. Major PTSD for a while. Drifted away from California IIRC and, I think, went into a career where he cared for animals and organized experiences for kids and animals. I may not be remembering correctly. I just know that now we'd say he had PTSD and I had hoped his writing would help him - but I don't think it did, really.

Yeah, despite all my thinking and research - it doesn't seem to help prevent anything. Even if we each personally started trying to fix people (as I think my colleague did), it doesn't work.

Sometimes I think that gene studies should be done but I don't like where that goes either.

You are a wonderful part of this community, Love Never Fails.

Ah thanks. What a nice thing to say. The posters on the threads for Gannon have really made me think a lot. My mind isn’t nearly as sharp as most. I love reading the different ideas.

I feel bad for your friend. And yet I do hope he is working with animals as that can be very rewarding. He didn’t deserve to go through what he went through.

In the end, I am a firm believer that some people are born evil. We can study them, feel sorry for them, whatever, but there is just no way I want them walking around free. I don’t want to hear about some fancy lawyer giving everyone a sob story about their poor, abused childhood. I don’t want some lawyer saying “ if it doesn’t fit, you must acquit”. Nor do I feel a psychotherapist can “fix” them, though they might get therapy for years on end.

Most of us don’t walk around thinking we hate someone so much that killing them is what we need to do. Most of us don’t have a temper so severe that you kill on impulse. How does a normal mind even go there?

I don’t have any answers, except to believe with all my heart those people are born evil. Can’t fix them. And I hope I never come into contact with one.

This case reminds me of the Skylea Carmack murder last year.

Like Gannon, this girl was under the care of her stepmother. She strangled Skylea to death, and reported her missing hours later.

The stepmom claimed that she may have run away. Ultimately, Skylea’s body was found in the backyard shed 4 days later.

The difference is that it doesn’t look to me like it crime was premeditated. She reacted, and hid the body in the nearest place.

TS may have done the same (hid a body under the nose of the police), but had the ability to remove the body from the house in her car.
Didn’t hear about that one. Was it covered on WS?
I do believe LS premeditated Gannons murder for some time.

For some reason, when I make a post, my last one stays in the box and posts again. How do I keep that from happening?

This really, really bothers me.

There's a missing 11-year-old boy, and LE didn't think to look inside the vehicles that were parked in the garage to see if maybe GS had hidden inside one of them to "run away?"

Okay.

I’ve dropped many hints about this.

Ha! Then she puts him in the back of her rental. It’s killing me not knowing the logistics of how she traveled to Florida/South Carolina.

She would have had to put his body in yet another vehicle to make this trip.

She had help .....

It definitely could, and that’s what I imagine when I read the description and look at that low quality photo of the blood splatter on the walls.

It looks like a blunt object to me, and a bat would be the perfect weapon in that regard.
Can you recall how upset I got last year thinking anyone could use a bat on another human being? And I was wrong. He did just that! Now it seems another maniac could have done the same thing. I have no words.

I dunno about smell if packed away in bags and a suitcase in an unopened car. Dogs maybe could pick up a scent but not humans after 7 hours and the body packed away. I bet she needed the windows down on the drive out of short term parking though. And she probably started thinking about a full detail inside the car given that smell, but everything was closed at 10:30pm after the dumping. Instead of getting a gas station wash on the outside I bet she wanted a full service, because of the smell. And those were only open the next day, maybe not even till 10am...Makes me want to see where the car wash on the list was located in relation to the 10:30pm pickup spot, and what their hours were. Wonder if LE asked the employees about peculiar smells. He was dead for over 30 hours in that car if LE timeline is correct.

The garage was perhaps below refrigerator temps which may have been a factor regarding smell.

She had help .....
Maybe, but knowing the logistics would help us reach a conclusion based on facts.

Was she alone? Where was the body? Is there a reasonable explanation for someone not knowing? Did she need help from a willing participant?

Things like that

1. Motion detectors in the basement and living room and contact detectors on front and back door. NO mention of them registering separate movements in two different areas of house at any time between 2:30-3:30 Jan 27. She was in and out of back door 10x during that time. If G was also in the house at the same time there would at SOME point be an acknowledgement of that in the form of 2 separate hits of movement in house simultaneously.

2. If G came home alive with her on 1/27 (which I contend he did not) he wouldn’t have gotten out of the other side of truck. He never got out at PetCo, and I assume at any other place for that matter, and he was injured and obviously ill, so why would she take the trouble to shift him over to the complete other side of the vehicle. She wouldn’t.

3. The fact that LE found no blood in truck, supports my theory. We know he was bleeding on Sunday night from his own words. We saw how sick, injured, and debilitated he was walking to the truck with barf bag. We heard he was vomiting, etc. So why was there NO blood, or vomit I assume. If true and he was vomiting and injured and bleeding the night before surely there would be some blood, if even a few drops. She either put down or had a waterproof seat cover already in truck. A PetCo fan with 2 small dogs of course would have a seat cover. If not she could have put a tarp from garage anytime between Sunday night and Monday at 10am.

4. AA claims there is no definitive proof or otherwise of him ever returning home with her.

5. Neighbor has the original footage and he saw no one but her on return.

Hmm... maybe police DID look in the Tiguan? Where was HH when police were at the house? Could LS have put the suitcase in the Jetta first, without HH even knowing, and told HH to go somewhere (such as to the park to look for Gannon)? Then when HH came back after police left, LS could have moved the suitcase into the Tiguan. She may have asked HH to do certain things without HH explicitly knowing what was going on (pick up cleaning supplies, back her car into the garage, pick her up somewhere, go look for Gannon at the park and don't come back until police are gone, etc). HH would eventually have to figure it out, though. Anyone with a brain would. JMO

The runaway searches and the "can nintendo find my switch" were all done on the 28th, AFTER she'd reported Gannon missing. As well as "car net volkswagen" -- likely trying to find out if the Tiguan/Jetta could be tracked.

Yes, you are correct. My error. Thanks for catching that.

I doubt it. There seems to have been an act of extreme violence committed in that bedroom, and she appears to have done enough to kill him multiple times.

Especially if it is true that he suffered blunt force trauma, stab type wounds, and a gunshot wound.

Yeah, and if he was able to summon up enough strength to walk to car I’m sure he’d have put up a fight if she tried to stuff him alive into suitcase.

According to the AA, at 10:45pm on the 28th LS texted officers and said (among other things): "One of your very own leaked to me what you guys were doing."..."Every conversation that said even at this moment I can hear inside." This is approximately an hour and a half after she left Gannon's body at the initial dump site.

I've seen it speculated that she had HH on the phone inside the home, quietly letting her listen to investigators' conversations. Regardless HOW she could hear them, I'm assuming she gained knowledge either through overhearing or through this LE leak, that they were able to track her Tiguan's movements and would be requesting those records. This may be why she knew she had to move Gannon again, and soon. And to use a car other than the Tiguan.

ETA: Especially think it could be HH inside letting her hear conversations cuz in the same texts LS said "men were sent to a home with a minor female and she was forced to stay there not to even leave even for food." JMO

ETA2: The huevos on this woman to taunt police that she can hear them, and proclaim she's being set up, less than two hours after dumping Gannon's body.

A person can listen to the goings on in their home through Alexa/Echo if you set up "drop in." This killer is not so savvy on so many levels but she could have also been listening in that way. I am not sure if their alarm system was set up with this feature as well. It could have been her daughter but maybe not.

MOO. She snowed the deputies implying drug and/or other issues.
The smell of coconut air freshener should ever remind them that such monsterous liars exist.
They had their BWCs on though, and that will be great footage for the prsecution of tbe case, seeing her talking to them about Gannon running away while his body is MOO out in her SUV.

They may have found blood in other vehicles as well and just didn’t put it in AA. Trying to trip her up. AA has no mention either of vehicle she drove to Fl. The aunt’s rental was returned in CO prior to her leaving for FL, so I wonder which vehicle she took. They must know because Witness List made prior to finding his body shows they knew she drove that route to Fl. How would they know if they didn’t know which car she drove, or she went in Jetta or some other known vehicle. Maybe she took Tiguan and they didn’t mention it in AA bc they didn’t want her knowing that they knew about her trip to Fl and that they were searching along that route. She might then ask someone to move the body again.

When that happens to me, I delete all the text and then click the save button or choose delete draft. If you delete the text and "save" it before the next auto save it will stay gone. But I don't know how you keep it from happening.

Stupid AND desperate. If Gannon's body was in the Tiguan, she had limited time to do anything else BUT drive it somewhere and get it out of there. AS and LE were getting mighty suspicious of LS by now. Detective Bethel was texting LS "Come in to talk to me. I would just like information to find Gannon." They had an appointment set for 10am the next morning. I believe AS had been asking her where the Tiguan was, and she wasn't telling AS the truth (I think she made reference to it being "near French Elementary"? when actually it was at the airport). AS and LE may have been discussing how to find the Tiguan. They wouldn't let HH leave, and possibly she was relaying info to LS...they were on to her lies but maybe didn't know exactly where she was anymore. So LS HAD to hurry and get Gannon's body out of the Tiguan quick, even if she knew she would have to go back and retrieve it later. And sure enough, when she showed up to the EPSO interview the next day, they seized the Tiguan.

Pretty sure Quncy Brown took the tiguan, he didn't have a ride cause he hijacked her on the way back to the house. Also, he hid there while police searched and TS desperately threw hints he was there hiding but they didn't catch on. After LE left, Quincy grabbed the empty moving box and suitcase and took the next flight out of town, parking the tiguan in short term parking because no one wants to walk the longer walk from long term parking.

My impression is that she was a non-classroom teacher. Curriculum specialists, for example, are typically credentialed teachers - but not in the classroom. People confuse these job titles quite a bit. Often Reading Specialists, Math Specialists and Curriculum Specialist are people with Master's or Ed.D. I will bite my tonge on this issue - because many of them are lovely, devoted people.

But some just need to be out of the classroom - understandable. I just came off a 6 hour teaching day (online) and I feel like spanking some booties. And thank god they can't hear my language.

IIRC it was reported somewhere that she worked as a substitute teacher for several months ending in 12/2019.

IMO, there is always a point, that we have posted just about every possible scenario,
thus the only thing to do is wait for the
actual evidence..
.rather than continue to try to convince
others our choice is correct...
Bbm
snipped for focus

I don't think members are going to want to stop posting here, and wait for an update.
We could be in for a looong wait.

Actually I think the release of the AA has given us plenty of fodder for discussion, and evidence that is already substantiated.
So it's encouraging that members are being allowed to continue posting in the thread. :)
Even if it's the 'same old, same old'.

This thread has been moving quickly and I doubt members are going to stop commenting about the case.

I welcome people's comments as it helps to keep the thread alive and I'd encourage anyone lurking who can add to the conversation to do so.
And the newer member might want to chime in which is often a good thing as new 'eyes' can give a different perspective.

The video interviews with L. Eagan shed some more light on what the household situation was like and we can discuss it as well as it is part of WS.
Of interest to me at his time was how much adults in Gannon's life knew how he was being treated ?
After the interview I no longer feel it's the elephant in the room.
So discuss away.
Imo.
